Booked for our included dinner last night. Originally booked for four people then attempted to add a fifth only to be told they were fully booked. A few hours later they called to say they had made room for the extra person.

Only four other tables were in use when we dined

While you don't get the full menu, you get decent Asian and western menus to choose from, and you can mix and match.

I had satay to start.


Veg green curry for main (boy was this hot!)

And chocolate cake for dessert.

Monday night we treated ourselves to dinner in their over water restaurant Kayu Puti. We started off with sunset coughtails in the hammocks over the water.



coughtail of the day was a melontini.


Then we were escorted to a table inside for our meal.

We elected to take their discovery menu The Journey. It takes you around regions of Malaysia, but with a bit of a western twist.



Bread to start; the rolls are sitting on hot stones

Amouse bouch.


Eggplant

Scallop

Pumpkin

Smoked fish

Wagyu; thankfully I'm mostly over my aversion to steak.

Extra dessert; banana fritter infused with black bee honey


Actual dessert.
