TomCat's new digs!

Grass goes in end of next week, so mud wont be such an issue.

You might already know this, but dog urine can kill patches of your new turf because of the acidity. I think I read you were getting sir walter, or a buffalo type? Although it's difficult to manage, but pouring water over the spots straight after they pee is the best way to handle it otherwise you end up with dead spots.

Not really worth it; never really had an issue and they're small dogs with small bladders. Lola is certainly beyond being trained to pee in one spot.

Meanwhile, we only had 15mm today and the bloody roof leaked. After we spent $4K getting it fixed. A terse phone call will be happening tomorrow. Can only assume the rain came in from a weird direction, but it should not matter what direction - the roof should NOT LEAK!

Leaks are so hard to fix.

Finally managed to start working the soil yesterday. Daisy is as happy as pig in mud

Some extra soil arriving Thursday which gives us two days to get it fully levelled out, and set up the garden beds (you can see the sleepers for this along the fence). Then turf arrives Saturday, so hopefully we have a lovely oasis by the end of the weekend.

And if the dirt gets wet Daisy will be as dirty as a pig in mud; actually even the dry dirt will make her grubby.:p

TV had a busy evening last night. Letterbox is finally in (the postie will be happy!).

Kitchen pendants are also in and look great.

Lovely sunsets over the back fence.

Miss Bella has finally discovered the shower; she loves water and was patiently waiting for the opportunity to get in last night.
