TomCat's new digs!

If only you were in Sydney!

And yes, be careful around Ms BC and the doggies and always handle products as per the packet and this includes the dogs wanting to eat the potting mix/bark and snail pellets.

Of course, Im guilty of totally ignoring all the warnings but I dont have kids or pets so always be careful.
It's only one bunch of weeds out the front, pups are out the back.

Looks like soil has all been carted off the front grass so that's a win. Need my sore muscles to recover before tomorrow

I love the physical effort of pulling the weeds out, root and all. "Look - you took all that effort to grow that big, it took me so little effort to remove you :p"

Then use weed spray if the pop their heads up again

You wouldnt enjoy these ones, they have big spikes.

I enjoy weeding the lawn, its actually quite therapeutic. Had a bucket with my tools, to get the weed inc root out cleaning is very satisfying.

I just use a spot spray that destroys plants like bindii, clover dandelion ,capeweed, creeping oxalis, etc. while leaving desired grasses alone. (Established lawn)

That will make a huge difference to your outlook and the soil is nice and damp underneath so the roots can develop before true summer hits.
