A little disappointed that the newly planted nature strip tree is a gumtree .

Councils these days are very good at selecting the right street trees. No tag so I’m not sure. Will dig around on the council website to see what it says. Other streets have nicer trees so I’m a bit disappointed. Though I do love a flowering gum, assuming it stays small.
It’s a Mansion!Frame is just about done, just needs the garage. Roof it all done, as is the alfresco.

I think in SA you are allowed to put all the leaves/seeds/whatever that drops from a neighbour's tree over the fence into their yard. It’s a Mansion!
We have an awful tree planted right next to our fence. Drops rubbish from November until May on our side due to gully winds. They’ve been told by their arborist that it’s dangerous but they don’t give a stuff as all their rubbish falls on our side. But we have a nice one planted by the Council on the kerb. Totally depends on the species.
Yes, and while we have a pile of their stuff on our side, on two occasions this year, and it’s been a dreadful year for some reason, I’ve had enough and dumped a lot of stuff on their side. And within an hour I had the witch from next door engage in a nasty conversation with me. Then her husband came over to talk to MrP about MY behaviour in dumping the stuff there. Now they have extended the fence line by about a metre to stop us doing this. Yet recently they had the neighbours on the other side prune their tree as it was dumping leaves on their side. Their tree rubbish is so bad that we will have to plan when to sell our house not on when it suits us but when their tree is dumping the least amount of rubbish.I think in SA you are allowed to put all the leaves/seeds/whatever that drops from a neighbour's tree over the fence into their yard.
Indeed it is. And there's a three eyed fish called Bob hidden in every painting if you fancy looking for himIts a trigger fish. Very territorial, Ive had them charge me during dives. Not as evil as clown fish though.
Oh, yes, he sure can do that.Pushka, you have a cricketer in your house.Surely he can heave a branch over a high fence.
If they complain again I would just say either take us to court, you'll lose and we will go for costs .
Or say the complaint to council goes in tomorrow morning so p... off.
It’s lovely and will look great in the new place. I saw a very nice Hokusai woodblock print in Japan but unfortunately it was 4,500,000 yen, so I didn’t purchase it.Apparently we can ring the council to find out what the tree is.
Went to a frame sale yesterday to pick up frames for the prints we've purchased in Hawaii. Forgot to get one for the marriage certificate though.
We've also got a lovely canvas from Hawaiian artist Alex Gupton on the way. His work is fabulous, each image is filled with lots of tiny images that you can spend hours looking at. This is the one we've purchased.

We currently have painters in the back area. They said we should poison it! Something we had given a thought too but the process over a few months might be worse.

Now there is a plan right there! When your house sale is signed and sealed - start poisoning it then - by the time you move out it should be on the way out and your new owners will be thankful ! and you can give your dreadful neighbours a big raspberry
