Tried to Add flights to QFF oneworld award, Airline Segments Lost

An agent can add a flight manually even if there is no availability. But they can't get it ticketed.. so no point pushing ticketing if there's no availability.
They have done this for me because of an involuntary flight change. The agent added a flight to my PNR to forward it to the oneworld desk to see if the airline will accept or reject my request.
Which flight are they saying there is no availability?
Could it be a ghost reward on the Qantas website?

The flights are available and is confirmed by the manager. He still had issues with ticketing and he said it is due to 1 year validity on e ticket. E ticket was initially issued on 3rd Nov 2022 so final flight cannot be later than 3rd Nov 2023. But the correct rule is from the date of first flight. Not from date of issue.

So keep calling until you get it priced. You don’t seem to be in any unusual difficulty, this is just our normal.

Ok. Well that is completely wrong. Point them to the rules about the 1 year validity again.. i'm sure it is from the first flight. HUACA

If you need to point it out, here it is:

14.6.1 Classic Flight Rewards will be valid for one year from the original ticketed departure date, unless otherwise specified. Some promotional Classic Flight Rewards (such as Classic Flight Rewards offered for a reduced number of Points) may be valid for a lesser period

Thanks Ktan89. Yeah I did take a screenshot of it but only after the call unfortunately. Hopefully I can be put through to the manager again soon.

Should always have a copy of the terms and conditions available and Check My Trip open when calling.

Yea will do from now. Have you experienced any issues with getting incorrect taxes quoted? How can you check this yourself? I used to do a mock checkout just to get the tax figure but I can't do that now because I don't have enough points (after paying 636k) to do a mock checkout.

Very broadly, you can’t check the taxes and fees. You are at the mercy of what they tell you. The dummy booking would also not work with so many sectors, even if you had the points.

Paid AUD$3,879.91 altogether in taxes for 2 passengers. Sounds a bit high? But atleast they managed to price it. Now been on hold for a long time for ticketing department to issue the e-tickets. Hopefully no more dramas.

This is not good. I am still on hold but I can see my itinerary is down from 10 flights to 4 flights.. I am not sure whether they have stuffed something up here..
Auto canceled because it was not ticketed time. MH flights disappear within a few hours. Hopefully they have gone back into the award pool and they can be put back, otherwise you have a problem.

I am still on hold while they trying to do the ticketing. I can see the flights in the award pool. I am not sure what I should do now... Continue to wait?

Either call on a different line or hsng up and get the flights reinstated. If they ticket an incomplete itinerary you will have wasted your time.
