I was matched within 24 hours but haven't received a welcome kit yet. I hope one arrives as I need the Gold card. I attached a recent QF statement with my email and scanned my WP card and sent that too. That's all.

Yep i did that as well but they keep coming back asking for the statement!

Just as a PDF of my emailed statement, it doesn't have all the detail you show in yours but then I only get email newsletter not the full detailed statement.

Is this where I am going wrong?

I had been starting to think that my request is being handled by the work experience kid.

Have resent everything to them just now.

To get an activity statement like SeatBackForward, log onto your QFF account, go to View Your Activity Statement, and then select "Print Your Activity Statement".

Persevere! I got my welcome kit today. It took me a few emails as well: pdf statement/QFF card/driver's license. Just keep replying to the emails you recieve - don't start a new one, that way the history of what they have asked you for is retained.

Haven't received card yet but printed out statement showing gold for the trip I am currently on. Worked a treat for Lufthansa lounges got me in to senator instead of business lounges on European legs.

That's good to know, thankyou. My emails to them regarding sending a card have gone unanswered so I will follow your lead and hopefully get the *Gold treatment on my upcoming flight with OZ

No. They match DJ not at all. Quite a few anecdotes here confirm this.

Think they'll only match to someone who is part of a "proper" alliance.

I actually only took a screenshot of the my summary page and a scan of my WP card and that did the trick no questions asked...

You will probably have your kit on your return. Just got back from Europe and tags and cards have arrived.
Just over one month since upgrade showing on site.

My Status Match has come through, too, although it took several email exchanges, with repeated requests from CS for the material already sent. Account is showing *Gold but no card/tags as yet. T&Cs do say that a *A flight is required to activate, so - despite others having a better outcome - am expecting to have to do that on a forthcoming trip to Europe. If the pack turns up in the next few weeks, all the better, of course.

Interestingly, I applied also for my partner, in the same bunch of emails. That request has been ignored completely, so shall have to begin again on his behalf. Handy to have two *A elite cards, for unforeseen circumstances. And we will be in Turkey in 2013, so will have an opportunity to see the Home Ground facilities.

To be fair, the biggest target for within the *A matches was the exiting BD Diamond Club. Otherwise, said members would've easily moved to oneworld with BAEC Avios, especially since the latter sweetened the deal by allowing a transfer of points.

Any other *A members matching to TK are either expecting to fly TK significantly, are not happy with their current program (less likely), or are just getting metal for the sake of metal (not likely, except possibly here).

I got my status match with TK (From CX Diamond - OWE) just in case i need it for a trip next year. Emailed them a photo of the card and screenshot of account showing 0 sectors flown in current period, but a stack of points recently transferred for a redemption, and was upgraded in 2 days.

I was accepted for a status match on 17 August and my package arrived in Australia by mail today.....so it takes close to a month in case anyone else is wondering.
