New series Fargo starting soon - just downloaded first 3 episodes of Quantico, Blindspot and Blood and Oil - will start watching them tomorrow night. If you haven't seen Fargo you are seriously missing out.

The only thing that puts me off Fargo is that I enjoyed the movie so much I fear that the series will ruin it for me.

They are two totally different beasts. I hadn't seen the movie before I watched the TV and I was blown away by how good it was. S2 of Fargo looks like it will be set in a different time; can't wait until it starts. I watched the first episode of Quantico last night and I thought it was meh. I started playing solitaire on my phone.

I've been watching "The Musketeers' which I taped on Foxtel. The slashing and shootin's good, but I have a bit of a chuckle when these series are obviously done to a budget s- o King Louis (the whatever-th - 14?) has Cardinal Richileu (Peter thingy who's the latest Dr Who which makes for my disconcerting flashes between shows) and about four servants. Extras are very thin on the ground!

Only watched first 2 episodes and even then wasn't concentrating 100% but would probably describe it as a time filler - might need to watch again if I get time - god it got saturation promotion when we were in US few weeks back.

Blindspot seems eerily similar to blacklist. Not sure if I'm a fan but will give it a few more episodes.

Just saw the first few episodes of Bosch off the PVR (was broadcast on SBS and SBS2) - as a fan of the books I can honestly say - wow - they totally nailed it. Good recomendation whomever suggested it!

The way the FTA channels stuff you around with 20 minutes of ads in a nominal one hour episode and schedule changes, it's no wonder people turn to Foxtel, Netflix or Channel BT.

No doubt some Sci-Fi fans will be in mourning as Defiance Season 3 has been announced as the end of the road for Defiance, if anyone can find it, I highly recommend it as being quite original and worth persisting with. Looks way better than its budget would imply, and written and acted properly as well.

Looks way better than its budget would imply, and written and acted properly as well.

I thought it was very formulaic. I last 4 episodes of the first season and thought that there was a lot of other better shows around at the time.

Not surprised to see it cancelled after only 3 seasons.
