TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Same thing unless your immigration minister.

'your immigration minister'. Assuming you mean 'you are' or 'you're' then that's very funny.

I'm sure both the Aboriginal people and Moari people would be pleased to hear you make that claim.

Perhaps you could run that claim up against the Australian and New Zealand Rugby teams?

Australia and New Zealand are both soverign nations.

Provisions in the Australian Constitution for New Zealand to become a state of Australia.

Raising part of the preamble of the Cth constitution doesn't advance your cause. have you read any High Court cases where the preamble has been interpreted?

New Zealand consciously chose to withdraw from the Australasian federation as its people identified themselves as sovereign.

You might also want to look at some recent polls on the matter in both Australia and New Zealand. A majority in each country see themselves as independent and are against any suggestion of joining.

Independence of NZ aside Grant Bowler was raised in Oz so he's as Aussie as Mel Gibson at least...

Watched the first two series of Defiance - waiting on the third. Syfy is still on series one but will show series three I assume.

Saw Arya (Maisie Williams) from Game of Thrones in a major role in last night's Doctor Who.

Just watched the whole second season of Satisfaction.... Not as good as the first and predictable....

Larry David doing a great impression of Bernie Sanders on SNL.

I watched the last ep of the Principal over the weekend. I thought it was a very well written and acted local mini series. I would def. recommend on the catchup service.

I'm a little hooked on 'The Musketeers' (somewhere on Foxtel) which started out well. It's become slightly more unrealistic through the episodes (apart from being pretty light on extras numbers) however watching one episode last night - the 'bad guys' were wearing low brimmed hats, long coats and masks. Thought I'd wandered into a Western by mistake. Result? All credibility gone! And please, scriptwriters - if you are trying to set something a few centuries ago - watch the language. I think I'll persist for a few more episodes and then erase the remainder. Dammit

Have you read the books? I'm keen to try the series, but already have strong images of some of the characters that I might find difficult to shake off.

No I haven't. I have read that the series was well received and i know that the author was involved in the production of it.

I'm a big fan of the books, have read 'em all. I had a picture in my head of Harry Bosch, and when I saw the actor playing him, remembered him as playing a really nasty character in 'The Good Wife' which almost put me off watching. After one episode I was hooked, thought it was terrific and can't wait for the second series. PS the opening credit sequence is a ripper.

That's really good to hear. Looking forward to it now!
