TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Wowsers, just into the second episode of Narcos and good heavens, I am exhausted! Why is it I can tolerate murder but not to animals. Although the girl in that scene was just awful. Hoping the Mexican gets an awful awful death sometime soon. Over a period of days would be best.

It's a bit full on at times, isn't it? Sad to think that it is fairly accurate as well from what I can gather.

Unfortunately the final episode just opens the path to the next series, but that's normal.

Not sure I want to watch another 10 episodes of this pseudo documentary.

Currently doing a catch up on Glue, the UK murder mystery series that was recently on SBS 2. Well worth a binge. If you liked the first series of Broadchurch this would be one for you.

After watching the first series, I went on a fact finding mission to find out how close the series story was to true life. Based on what I've read, I think series two might be padded out (if there is 10 episodes in series 2). Perhaps the whole story could have just gone 2 or 3 episodes longer?

Very much enjoyed the first series and looking forward to the next regardless.

Yes. Another 2 episodes would have covered it all. But where's the advertising and funding in that, unfortunately.

Just starting on this one

New Doctor Who Episode on iview now.

Watched on iView last night (as we can't get ABC channels). We are all somewhat bemused. Critics seem to like it though?
This could be the shark jumping season, if the last one wasn't.

Gotta remember it's written by a fan so the last 3 doctors have got a lot of over the top treatment.

Finally caught up with the new season of Doctor Who on Iview after just coming back from holidays. We were having trouble with either the EPG or our media recorder and only got the prologue episode and part of the main episode. I enjoyed it and I'm glad they referenced a couple of older Doctor Who episodes.

I think Doctor Who has picked up a bit with the new episode being a traditional 'siege' type scenario. Always plenty of claustrophobic tension.

I've really enjoyed (if that's the right word) this series of Utopia. Critics say it's the typical goings-on in a public service office but I'd have to say it covers a lot of the corporate world as well - the way incompetent staff are allowed to run free and HR is a total waste of space. (no offence to anyone in HR intended - just my experience with my last company).

Also heard that The X-Files is being revived for a short series - 6 episodes of one hour each. By the early reports it's amazing. Probably my favourite series of the 90s although it jumped the shark when Mulder left.

Gotta love the start of the ratings season in the US over the past week: amongst others are the return of The Good Wife s07, Castle s08 and The Blacklist s03.

Quantico s01 looks promising two episodes in, and Heroes Reborn s01 - jury's still out on that one, but will give it another couple of episodes.

Heard a rumour that Channel 7 will be showing Qauntico and Castle soon. Possibly even this Sunday night, but there is mixed information amongst the various TV guides at the moment.

Foxtel are fast tracking Arrow and The Flash. Now that Foxtel has the rights for new episodes, things will be much better and make more sense. Foxtel also has the rights to Legends of Tomorrow which is due to start early next year. The first 7 episodes of both The Flash and Arrow will set up some of the characters and storylines for Legends of Tomorrow so we're lucky that all these shows are showing on the one channel.

Yep "Fast-Tracked From the US!" - - Don't tell C7 that Castle's already up to e03, Quantico e02.

The way the FTA channels stuff you around with 20 minutes of ads in a nominal one hour episode and schedule changes, it's no wonder people turn to Foxtel, Netflix or Channel BT.

The Doctor broke the fourth wall and told me to google "bootstrap paradox".

Limitless starts tonight before the F1, which isn't bad.
