TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Which could mean a death in childbirth. People are making a deal of their relationship but will it be a similar concern in Targer land? A lot of the family issues in incest is culturally and religiously driven although there are potential issues with genetics amongst direct relatives this is what we know now and not in these times. Obviously I am not talking of young children being abused but again these are not our times. I'm wondering that they won't blink an eye when their relationship becomes known.

The GoT actors suggesting Dany and Jon romance will not end well. George RR Martin did say the ending will be 'bittersweet'.

[
Yeah, I saw that. I do think at least one of them won't make it, though they will both probably make it to the last ep and then one dies. Probably Dany dying in childbirth. I kind of hope they get married before Bran tells them as it would be legal by Westeros law and having your child legitimate is a big deal in Westeros so I would hate to see him a cough.

Anyone want to make predictions for the final season? Since it hasn't been filmed yet no one really knows what happens.

Here's mine, lets see how many come true.

Cersei secretly marries Euron because Jaime has left her and she doesn't want her baby to be a cough. I think he will probably die in battle at some point, she may send him to the worst battle just to get rid of him. Honestly, if I were her in S07E07 I would have negotiated with Dany to retire comfortably to Casterly Rock and let Dany have the throne. She has to know deep down she can't win, even if those Essos armies show up.

Arya finds out Jaime pushed Bran out the window, kills him and uses his face to get to Cersei and kills her shortly after she gives birth. The baby is a girl and Tyrion as next of kin takes her as I think he will survive to the end. This keeps House Lannister around for a sequel series.

Bran wargs Viserion with the Night King aboard and crashes. If the NK isn't killed, then probably someone with a Valerian steel sword will polish him off. This could also kill Bran, not sure how warging works here. The other WWs and wights collapse when the NK "dies".

Dany gets pregnant from the boat romance and Jon has mixed feelings. Bran tells him about his true identity and he is repelled by the incest factor but torn as he didn't grow up with Dany as his family so she doesn't seem like a real auntie. He finds out about the baby and asks Bran to keep it quiet so he can marry her so the baby is not a cough and they can rule together anyways. One of them dies at the very end (bittersweet ending per GRRM) probably Dany and she gets an afterlife scene where she joins Khal Drogo and their son in that yurt thingy in her S02 vision. Jon/Aegon gets the iron throne but doesn't want it and either offers it to Sansa or carves up the 7 kingdoms into smaller portions that are allocated to other surviving major cast members on the good guys side, such as North, South, East (comprising KL, Dragonstone & Stormlands), West. Tyrion gets the West with Casterly Rock as his home and raises his niece but frequently visits Jon and his son. Jorah survives and stays as Kingsguard to Jon and Dany's son. There is an epilogue into the future showing the two children playing to pave the way for a sequel.

I think the end game is to get rid of all the magic in Westeros so the dragons will probably be killed in battle. Not sure how they reproduce but it would be cool if they leave some eggs behind!

Sansa survives and either gets the iron throne if Jon doesn't want it or at least gets Winterfell and the Vale if Robin Arryn doesn't make it, she is next of kin. She marries someone like Gendry or Bronn (if they survive) and is shown in the epilogue with children playing at Winterfell.

Tormund and Brienne survive and hook up.

Clegane Bowl happens, The Hound wins but is later killed in battle, I don't think he would make it to the end.

Theon rescues Yara but is killed in the process. Yara survives as Queen of the Iron Islands. I don't see her wanting to get married and have kids so not sure what they would do about the succession!

Alternate off-the-wall ending: Night King is sole survivor, re-animates Cersei and they rule everything together!

OK have at it, lets hear your predictions!

Their is a thing called GSA (Genetic sexual attraction). Basically the theory is you're actually attracted to people with similar genetics and an Israel study of a kibbutz showed non related children raised closely together had less of a chance of marrying later.

It has been observed close blood relatives who were separated when young sometimes hooked up later as Adults. The theory from the Israel study is that children raised together had some type of imprinting that stopped the children from hooking up later in life. Also known as Westermarck effect.

I think the child will survive, however the child might not be born till the end. One might (or both) die trying to save the other.

Tormund and Brienne will have glorious babies that rule the world.

I don't know if Jaime will survive but I feel Brienne will try to stop it. The kids now know LF caused the tensions between the Starks and Lannisters.

Jaime will probably become the general of the all star army.

Gendry will become a Baratheon and make Valerian steel.

Tyrion will survive, as it is known he is a favourite of RR Martin.

The killing of the Night King will probably be complex.

Clegane Bowl happens, The Hound wins but is later killed in battle, I don't think he would make it to the end.

Agreed.

Democracy comes to Westoros.

Sam goes home.

The end is the start of Spring.

.

I think it will be simple.

The army of the dead will be conquering all, and there will have been may setbacks and will all look lost for living. But then Jon will against all odds by himself sneak in the Night Kings Camp and kill him with either dragon glass or valerian steel. Perhaps with Longlaw the ancestral sword Jorat Mormont's.

Your scenario is also quite complex to get to an assassination. I can't remember my logic but I think it had to something with many deaths with the all conquering dead army. So something with the all stars crew, sacrifice of numerous main characters to protect Dany and Jon, with Dany or Jon to both and/or to die to kill the Night King.

Game of Thrones has had 7 seasons already? I've not seen a single episode yet. Am I missing out? I used to watch the SciFi channel a lot in Thailand after golf but haven't done so for a few years.

Just watched the first three episodes of Strike - UK crime drama based on the books by J K Rowling. It was okay but as the Gentleman would say, "He isn't Harry Bosch".

The Deuce...... Amazing computer generation or archive footage pilot is long...... Think it was sponsored by the cigarette industry!

Does anyone know if "The Orville" is being screened in Australia or available from one of the streaming services. I am about to get Netflix. I have access to Foxtel. I did a Google search and couldn't get any answers and checked the upcoming schedule of Foxtel for the next week but couldn't find it.
