TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Just watched the first three episodes of Strike - UK crime drama based on the books by J K Rowling. It was okay but as the Gentleman would say, "He isn't Harry Bosch".
Finished the first three. Excellent gumshoe program. No gimmicks, well written, good acting, interesting plot. Very enjoyable!

Watched episode 1 of Ozark last night. Very very good. Hopefully it can maintain that standard for the other 9 episodes.

Gee Autism getting plenty of air time of late...... The Good Doctor...... The latest on the list!

Does anyone know if "The Orville" is being screened in Australia or available from one of the streaming services. I am about to get Netflix. I have access to Foxtel. I did a Google search and couldn't get any answers and checked the upcoming schedule of Foxtel for the next week but couldn't find it.

I can't find any reference to "The Orville" except for promo pieces. Seth MacFarlane production company did this as a co production with Fox.

It should be on foxtel, however as it is a co-production who knows. If it is on foxtel, the next time I hear Rupert Murdoch cough about piracy I am going to throw up.

The first three of The Orville are available from the usual sources. Just watched these tonight and it grows on you. Quite amusing. Far better than the continual outpourings from the Marvel series or the new series 4 of Gotham which have just got beyond the pale IMHO. YMMV.

Well in preparation for our 8 weeks in UK and Ireland next year and to bone up on some history (though naturally the shows are not 100% accurate and so some post series reading is required!) we have just knocked on The White Queen, The White Princess (Both the ware of the Roses) and have just commenced the much long The Tudors series (Henry VIII). All are quite watchable.

Ok...if you enjoy Sci Fi or End of The World type series then you may enjoy this series = Day 5. I have just finished watching the Second Series of which the series finale only just came out yesterday.. Not made with a huge budget, but I think it is made well and not a zombie anywhere!

And yes by now you have probably figured I make the most of trial offers to watch these shows, and so you can join Rooster Teeth for a free 30 day trial ;)

This is a gamers type site in the main and so most of its shows may not appeal to you. They do not to me and this is the only show on their site that I will watch. But if you like this style of genre, I believe that you will like Day 5.
