TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Jurassic World is on channel 9 tonight. Is it worth watching? I enjoyed the earlier ones.

Yes....but I wouldn't watch it on commercial television. The ads will ruin it.

It's a fun, no need to think, story, with little to no basis in scientific fact.

The biggest question you will have afterwards though, is how does Ingen keep securing liability insurance for their projects?

Just finished watching The Bridge (Bron/Broen) season 4 on SBS on demand. It’s just started screening on SBS itself. I thought it was the best of all the seasons. Thoroughly recommend it.
Interesting to recognise Charlotte Fich in a minor role. For those with long memories she was Ingrid Dahl in Unit.

Is it just me, or is Think Tank just painful to watch?
The ABC program? It’s excruciating:eek:.

This is a perfect example of the Michele Guthrie et al (news corp) dumbing down of the ABC. ABC local radio and RN has been trashed and any good presenters moved to 4 pm or later and ABC tv is now just drivel, apart from 3-4 programs.

Why does the ABC have such a cough quiz program occupying an hour each night? I suppose it’s home grown but hey it’s still garbage.

Paul McDermott used to be interesting when he was in the DAS and various music programs, but on this his general knowledge is overly exposed and his “jokes” are so funny that not even the “think tank” laughs.

The questions even are moronic.

WHTBAM dare I say is even better.

Why do they bother except to drive away move ABC viewers to the bottle!

Has anyone watched Britannia. (It was a UK Sky TV Original series.)

It is set at the time of the second Roman Invasion......I struggled to get past the them music - Hurdy Gurdy Man, by Donovan. :eek:

The show itself is on the awful side of bad as it attempts to use modern dialogue to be hip and trendy. A poor mans attempt at a Game of Thrones type show.

Yes. You are not wrong. Except on Hurdy Gurdy man. Best part of the program.

What did the Romans ever do for us eh?
