TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Firefly - I heard this was fantastic but I never latched onto it. Should I try again?

I'd give it a go. I never liked it as much as Angel and Buffy, but that was probably because the show was too short. It was definitely memorable and worth my time watching it. I really enjoyed watching Nathan Fillion and it's probably because of Firefly that I ended up watching Castle.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I can give you Series 1 to 4 inclusive via computer file. Attach your computer to a Smart TV and watch on the big screen. Headphones optional (in my household, late at night they are a requirement)

I suspect my daughter has the first few series in that format. Mrs GPH is indifferent to it , so I've not had the opportunity to watch much yet.

Boxed TV series sets....
MASH
Thunderbirds
Monty Python
Black Adder
Rome
Cosmos
David Attenborough - Life Series
Star Trek TNG
Sherlock Holmes
Twilight Zone
True Blood
Scandal

Just finishing off:
Star Trek Enterprise & Deep Space 9 and Voyager

Still to watch/finish:
Battlestar Galactica (just started)
Game of Thrones

Firefly
House of Cards
Mad Men

Highly recommended:
Weeds
Fringe
Dexter
Deadwood
Fargo
Breaking Bad
Six Feet Under
Big Love
Community
The Office (US version)
Parks and Recreation

Nearly all of this stuff was either never broadcast on TV, or screwed around so much that it was essentially unwatchable on TV, so DVD box sets for me.

I also have The Tudors sitting on a shelf unopened, is it worth a look?

I've just finished the first season of True Detective, very good show, season 2 starting soon. The Wire was one of the best TV shows I've ever watched, I would happily watch the 5 seasons start to finish again.

For Game of Thrones fans - Jon Snow doesn't make the best dinner guest:

The only boxsets on my bookshelf:

Scrubs
Buffy
The Girls Next Door (yes. I admit it!)
MASH

On the list:
Arrow
The Flash
Big Bang

Big Bang Theory is my 'go to' on planes and I confess to laughing out loudly. 

I must admit to this also. Without the ads each episode is only 20 min. I managed 5 episodes on my last BNE-AKL flight.

We're, well swmbo, is doing an Orange is the new black marathon thanks to foxtel. Gotta love complete boxsets available for download. I'm sitting in, especially for the MA episodes. ;) The M episodes are ok.

One comment about Orange is the new black, season 2: No australian man would agree to a threesome involving 2 men.
