Firefly - I heard this was fantastic but I never latched onto it. Should I try again?

I'd give it a go. I never liked it as much as Angel and Buffy, but that was probably because the show was too short. It was definitely memorable and worth my time watching it. I really enjoyed watching Nathan Fillion and it's probably because of Firefly that I ended up watching Castle.

I can give you Series 1 to 4 inclusive via computer file. Attach your computer to a Smart TV and watch on the big screen. Headphones optional (in my household, late at night they are a requirement)

I suspect my daughter has the first few series in that format. Mrs GPH is indifferent to it , so I've not had the opportunity to watch much yet.

Nearly all of this stuff was either never broadcast on TV, or screwed around so much that it was essentially unwatchable on TV, so DVD box sets for me.

I also have The Tudors sitting on a shelf unopened, is it worth a look?

I've just finished the first season of True Detective, very good show, season 2 starting soon. The Wire was one of the best TV shows I've ever watched, I would happily watch the 5 seasons start to finish again.

We're, well swmbo, is doing an Orange is the new black marathon thanks to foxtel. Gotta love complete boxsets available for download. I'm sitting in, especially for the MA episodes. The M episodes are ok.
