Re: UK - in or out of the EU?

Not surprising. Scotland has an over entitlement complex. IMHO they wouldn't prosper if they exited the UK, and aren't going to be an asset to the EU.

Indeed. Clearly illustrated in this map of "handouts"...

Interesting that Wales was strongly Out despite the funding

Never realised thanks for that correlation

I'm Scottish and I agree 100% with this

Makes one look at the Welsh with much pride... you can also include the good folk of Cornwall.

And they are certainly not English ether, although to their dismay they are often lumped in with them!

Every Scotsman person I have met is / are fiercely independent and usually don't like the English.
So this comment surprised me a little, learning every day.

The Poms can always count on the Welsh.

Mmmmmm.........now I love the film Zulu. ("Zulus fousands of 'em") but the regiment involved was actually a Warwickshire regiment. So in reality it was probably a bit more "Peaky Blinders".

The fun has continued with Nicola Sturgeon. Is she utterly devoid of intellect or is she just 'look at me, me, me, me'?

Adam Hill's rant on Farage.

A delicious irony. Here you are with all your left leaning comedians and cartoonists, the occupy crowd and Socialist Alternative types all on the same side as the big banks, capitalist CEOs,political elites and the 1%ers whilst the poor and lesser educated that you supposedly think are getting ripped off you are calling racist, stupid and many more terms of such lovely"endearment".
The political equivalent of "simpler and fairer" I presume.

Some humorous blog entries:

Does Scotland have a share market?

But drron, that's nothing new, surely? All of those groups usually have the same view of the great unwashed.

ps who's Adam Hill and why should I listen to his foam-flecked ranting's?

ps stock markets still going up ... did some-one say there was a problem with those?

All of my friends and most of my extended family think the same way.
I know 1 person who voted yes for every 10 people who voted no in the Scottish independence referendum.
I don't know a single family member/ friend in Scotland who voted for Brexit.

Regarding Princess Fiona as she's known (or was known when Alex Salmond was Shrek), I think it's a bit of both ;)

Re: UK - in or out of the EU?

So, stock market quickly re-building ... what else was the issue?

Ah! Remember how Britons were madly googling 'What is the EU?' after the brexit vote. Said by the smug elites to show how stupid and ignorant the Leavers were?

Well, no.

Then there was this map we were shown here. Fake. But at least that was obvious (to some of us ;) )

... and on we go. Ho hum.
