Also, have the same concern re: SYD DJ Domestic to JQi terminal transfer..??

Worst case scenario, we either walk down to the train or catch the bus - I think it's only $5 for a terminal transfer in SYD.

Every 10-year-old I ever heard of would be overjoyed to have party/gifts a day early...

Unfortunately, there is a higher authority - SWMBO.

Personally I thought an F lounge visit would be a good birthday surprise. Seems not :o ;)

Is it worth me going via BNE? Or is everyone catching the 0800 DJ to SYD?

I am (on the 0800 DJ to SYD that is).

Someone (with more time on their hands than me) needs to do up a spreadsheet with everyone's travel plans for co-ordination/meet-up purposes.

Just a reminder - thanks to yohy! tip - that if you are going to book JQ35 ... to use Jetstar's Price Beat Guarantee and fares should come out to $26.06 one way ;) (Comparable flight is Tiger's.)

Ahh i am working at the tennis so it isn't all bad!!

we should high tail it up Sydney together, and maybe Bossreggie can join us!

If anyone wants to join me on the Morning DJ flight, I'm happy to guest one into The Lounge if people haven't got a status match :)

I figured I might as well go DJ, I don't need the SC's for this membership year.

(DJ821, 0815 flight, Will probably kill an hour or so over at the SYD T3 J lounge, then B*s it to T1 :))

Yep, it's $5.

I actually don't mind the train - I've caught it instead of the bus the past few times for something different.

Anyway I'll be in SYD on the Friday night so will probably leave the city around 11:30am for the airport to check in for JQ35 unless people are meeting up earlier.

I've booked my 'protest flight' home, travelling DJ697 MEL-PER at 8.30pm.

Surely we have enough to arrange some memorabilia for the event, maybe some t-shirts with the Qantas logo in the middle of a circle with a line through it (like the no smoking sign) and "WPs say enough is enough" or "WPs say anytime is our time". Perhaps some flags to wave on the plane. Maybe some pens and key rings . . .

Geez, what is this, a union strike or an Amnesty International protest march?

Just don't let NONEWS hear about it.... It will make the front pages!!

Definetely have to get some Group Photo shots - perhaps with everyone in the First Lounge holding up their status matched Velocity Gold Cards:)

Not everyone got and/or sought a match.

Would be a rather hypocritical statement too unless everyone there was committed to giving up their QF WP status completely and flying QF unless forced to.

Indeed! There is likely to be some close scrutiny of various things. Don't poke the bear!

Good idea; don't poke the bear; they might get upset.:p:lol:
