No real news about JQ35 Syd - Mel so i have to assume it is siill running as scheduled

Update to Jetstar Bali services

Jetstar wishes to provide an update on its international services into Denpasar (Bali) from Australia and Singapore as a result of a volcanic ash cloud caused by Tengger Caldera volcano in Indonesia.

Safety of our passengers and crew is Jetstar’s number one priority.

At this stage, we are anticipating to operate the following service at a revised time, subject to updates provided by the Darwin Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre.

JQ116 Perth-Denpasar (departing 1005) / JQ 117 Denpasar-Perth (departing 22:45)
(now rescheduled to 1235).

The remaining Jetstar services scheduled for today are listed below. We will review advice received from the Darwin Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre and will provide a further update at 1630 (AEDT) in regards to the operation of these remaining services.

JQ35 Melbourne-Denpasar (departing 1845) / JQ36 Denpasar-Melbourne (departing 2300)

JQ83 Darwin-Denpasar (departing 1610) / JQ84 Denpasar-Darwin (departing 1815)

JQ37 Sydney-Denpasar (departing 1735) / JQ38 Denpasar-Sydney (departing 2210)

JQ81 Darwin-Denpasar (departing 1930) / JQ82 Denpasar-Darwin (departing 2250)

JQ116 Denpasar-Singapore (departing 1445) / JQ117 Singapore-Denpasar (departing 1835)

The wake in ADL goes well. Just waiting for the bar to open at midday for the obligatory rum.

I never realised how busy ADL is on a Saturday with SQ, CX, AirNZ and QF international aircraft lined up. CX104/105 has just been called for boarding.

I'm going to be a late entrant for the Melbourne domestic J lounge wake today.

I'll try to get there just before 5pm (to match the JQ35 arrivals?).

And for the first time, for a bit of a joke and to see if it can be done, I'm going to try getting there by train from Parliament Station to Broadmeadows Station then 901 bus to MEL T4 (bus runs every 30 mins). And return. A $3 weekend metlink ticket covers all trips and it should only take 20mins longer (for me) than if I used a tram and the skybus.

I'm platinum, so could guest persons, if they let me.

If you are intending to visit the MEL QP stay away from the Angus Shiraz, its terrible :evil:. MEL is operating on one RWY so there may be delays for those inbound, on Bretts jet this morning I got an extra 20 minutes to see why rogue aircraft really do suck when it comes to PE!
