US Dividend Miles - post your SUCCESSFUL award bookings here.

Have just put the following on hold for Dec/Jan all in business class which will be my last hurrah with USDM with the current 100% bonus, have kept all the connections long so should be all good on schedule changes. Have free accommodation in Bangkok and Vietnam so the longer layovers actually suit to catch up with family.

TG MEL-BKK 22hr layover (Christmas shopping)
TG BKK-SGN Stopover for 6 days (Christmas)
BR SGN-TPE 17hr layover
BR TPE-CTS Destination for 11 days (Skiing)
TG CTS-BKK 16hr layover
TG BKK-MEL

Successfully ticketed with no questions raised about the stopover location. 90,000 miles (USD$1693.13) + Taxes (USD$113.50) + USDM Booking fee (USD$50) = Total USD$1856.63 (approx AUD$2040 but will have to confirm on 28degrees statement)

Quite sad actually making this last booking. I have had an unbelievable time with USDM travelling business and first class when I otherwise most definitely wouldn't have to Europe, the US and Asia over the last few years, I have nearly got used to it which is not a good thing for someone in their 20's!

Don't know Egypt Air has been mentioned in this thread but I'm looking at booking JFK-CAI-BKK, among other segments, as availability from USA to BKK is limited to just NY to DUS, as shown on ANA website. uS Air couldn't see that availability. MS uses B777-300 on segments booked. Stop is around 8 hours. MS is 'dry' airline though I read elsewhere pax can take their own grog to drink on board.

there are several trip reports for MS around the web... the hard product seems ok, soft product can vary. if it's the only option, then I guess it's the best option :)

Just booked: MEL-bkk-HND-icn-SPN-icn-hkg-bkk-MEL in J for 30K + ~$150 taxes/fee x 2 pax.

Stacking inside that HND-LAX-ORD-MCO-HND as a mixed J/F award via AA for 112.5K each.
Plus SPN-gum-ROR-mnl-gum-SPN in rev Y for us both.
And a Caribbean side-trip (Grand Cayman and Grand Bahama) for a week branching from MCO (through MIA) as rev Y for 2 pax.

Whole trip from Nov 22 to Dec 21 with best mate. Pretty stoked! Thanks AFF.

BTW, who will take out the honour of the last USDM booking on 31st (1st April our time) ?

let's hope it is no one from AFF as that would be potentially cutting it very fine indeed. I wonder how busy the call centre will be on the final day!?

And now I've got the following on hold until the points I bought (gifted myself) post at which point I will book:
SYD-BKK-SIN-TPE-gum-mnl-tpe-HKG-bkk-SYD for 3 pax - mostly in J with 1 Y leg and 1 pax (me) in F for last two legs
Trip from Dec 27 to Jan 6 for my parents and I, giving us New Year's in Singapore and a day in BKK, TPE and HKG along the way.

Probably my last hurrah with 100K USDM points.

Just confirmed last of flights (barring TK, they are getting back to me as I emailed them):

PER-BKK-BRU-IST (Stop) -JFK (Destination) - VIE-BKK-PER All in J (I)

:D

Have a day in Vienna to see the sights, 9 hours to crash in BKK on the way there as I will be travelling straight after my swing. Also have 5 days in IST.

One last question, I have rang/emailed all airlines and all except for TK (havent replied yet), have confirmed flights. Do I need to do anything else?

Ill call them to book flights/meals, however I assume the confirmation call/email is all that needs to be done to ensure that the tickets are valid?

If you really want to be sure you need to ensure that they can see your US ticket numbers...this indicates 'payment' - a 'confirmed' booking isn't necessarily paid for.

Where did you get their contact details? I have been calling Thai office in Australia for quite a few days to no avail! I need details of TG, LH, SK, and OZ. Thanks in advance.

Yep, I quoted my ticket numbers to all of them. Probably best to ring Austrian as their written english isn't too good ;)

Just go to their respective websites. I emailed TG at perth@ thai airways . com . au

TG replied within a few hours.

So, I have flights of this on hold and I find out the MCT for GUM is 75 minutes not 45 minutes. I'm completely struggling to find any availability whatsoever in and out of GUM around these dates. I don't really care where I need to go from to get to GUM or leave to to get out--I don't mind if it's SPN or ROR either--I just can't find any other options :( Any ideas/assistance pretty please? Thanks!

You may have to settle with staying in GUM for a few days. I assume this is not ideal.

After a few days, you could fly back via TPE, or via some ports in Japan, or even MNL. There are even 3 seats in Business.

Unfortunately that's the go. I'm going to piss off work taking even more leave, but I can get out of GUM 07/01 (as opposed to 04/01) so I can push back going to GUM to 05/01 (from 03/01).

The MCT for GUM stuffed my hold booking, but, in the end it worked out.
Unfortunately, I had to make some pretty big changes to the particular flights and dates including splitting into a pair (parents) and single (me) for a number of legs (despite being the same departure and arrival destinations).

Theirs in J/C:
(MEL-)SYD-BKK-SIN-TPE-nrt-GUM-tpe-HKG-BKK-MEL (nrt-GUM in Y)
Mine in J/C:
(MEL-)SYD-BKK-SIN-TPE-kix-GUM-tpe-HKG-BKK-MEL (lost F for my last 2 legs)

Dates became: Dec 27 to Jan 9 with 7 days in SIN, 1 in TPE, 1 in GUM, 1 in HKG and 0.5 in BKK both ways.

Total cost for all 3 pax: 90,000 miles + $454.60 taxes & $150 processing fees

Gee you have done well! So did you get an Open Jaw, Stopover within region, Destination as Guam (even though less than 24hrs?) all in the one itinerary? They must be getting lazy with the end coming up!
