VA Points / SC Credits - Anyone notice how slow it has become recently

For all of those who were getting 'stroppy' about their precious SC/points not posting from last weekend, I just had all of my outstanding flights (along with bonus points) post in one big lump this afternoon with no intervention on my part....

How hard can it be...? I flew QF the week before last and SC and points posted as i was waiting for my bag at the carousel

I think Qantas has done something quite recently to have their postings happen quicker. My last few have posted same day, but thawas not previously the case, when a day or two was the norm.

I still don't understand why VAis so slow though

Just checked again and mine have also posted.
Were not there around 3 hours ago so I put in a claim for missing points / SC, should of waited it seems but then again I have been waiting 7 days.....

Fly back from SIN tonight, on QF.

Will be interesting to see how fast QF posts points/SC's

Flew on QF's partner, EK, on a QF flight number, ADL - MEL - AKL, and the points and SC appeared overnight.
So from the QF side of things, the points and SC appearing in my QFF account was good and fast.
VA's partner, (Air)NZ which I flew back on AKL - ADL, its still not in my VFF account.
Last time, I flew VA, I had to put in a retro claim 3 days after the flight still hadn't appeared in my VFF account.
Still have the (Air)NZ BP to scan and send if it all goes pear shaped.
Pity collection points on VA flights, is still so bad compared to QFF.

Agreed. Usually SQ flights hit pretty quickly but with my EY flight I've put a claim in they said the average turnaround time is 4-6 weeks!!

Flew QF BNE-SIN today, QF points/SC already posted. QF are crediting within 6 hours of landing, Virgin is struggling to post within 6 days...

There is something very wrong with Virgin.

Are they using Microsoft XP or something from the Stone Age...??? Pigeons?

There is something very wrong with Virgin.

Qantas have done something in the last few months to speed up the process.

Virgin are still taking 4 days for the most part (although SQ flights post quickly - even on the VA codeshare).

My VA flights which I recently took over the Easter period credited within 48 hours. Granted its not as quick as QF but I've never had prolonged delays in my SCs or points being credited

I also travelled last Sunday and my points (including the nice triple bonus) and SC were in my account by Wednesday morning. My Friday flight credited Monday morning.

I flew PER-BNE- EMD on Monday. Nothing posted yet.. had a total of 6 flight over the week so will be interesting to see how long each takes to come through..

This is a regular occurrence unfortunately. I had my MEL-SYD credit within 4 days but my SYD-MEL has still not posted (just clicked over 10 days for that).

Prior to that I had a CBR return leg a 4 weeks ago that needed manual intervention. Sigh. How hard is it Velocity, I know VA doesn’t call all the shots but surely they can fix this....

I flew on Monday (now Saturday evening) and no posting yet. This this demonstrates the unprofessionalism of the Velocity program as a Platnium member - I’m also Platnium with QF and their flights always post on the same day.

I also flew on QF on Wednesday and haven't received the points for that flight yet.
