VA Points / SC Credits - Anyone notice how slow it has become recently

I'm always amazed that when I fly to the US, if the Trans-Pac is on DL metal it will have posted by the time I've landed in ATL or whatever other port I've left LAX for. Ditto the other way (domestic DL points and SCs will have posted while I was doing the Trans-Pac). Yet if it's a VA flight guaranteed the points won't be there for 3 days. How does VA design a system where its partner points post quicker than its own points on the same itinerary?

My wife's have all family pooled to me, but my flights have not shown up. They were from the 11th April and the 28th, both on VA and DL metal, all ticketed through VA. Also my SYD BNE flights from last week are yet to show.

My first experience of VA domestic flights not posting 3 days after flight. Will wait until the end of the week and then lodge missing points claim.

That's making me feel good that I've got DL flight numbers on all my flight for my upcoming USA itinerary - and have 3 family members family pooling to me :D.

I'm beginning to think that perhaps, just perhaps, their systems are broken!

Va domestic flights from over a week ago have not posted so I lodged an online claim. Irritatingly, the flights are still listed in My Bookings!

I did that, but afterwards, it comes up saying, a claim has already been submitted for that flight! Now waiting on 4 flights to credit 10 days and counting

Points from BP are coming through faster than flights at the moment. 6 days and counting for my last domestic flights.......

Same for me when I tried submitting yesterday.. Makes me wonder if anyone from VA monitors these posts..

Simple answer is no, VA (like QF) concentrate on the larger social media sources like Facebook and Twitter (to their detriment)

I'm not on FB or twitter.. But have just posted on there latest IG post asking whats going on.. Let's see if i get a response.

  1. @VirginAustralia How about sorting out your backlog on posting SC's and points? 8 days plus for a domestic flight is becoming ridiculous!

Remembered that i had a twitter account & got the same canned response...

Flew LAX>JFK on 29/4 - VA ticket and no points or status credits yet. Just flew LGA>ORD on 7/5 with Delta and surprise surprise, points and SC (Inc pooled) are in my account already.
