VA Points / SC Credits - Anyone notice how slow it has become recently

It's like waiting for Lotto to post your winnings.

Update - Missing points claim system is also broken. I have been awarded 10 SC for flight, I am not even sure what fare class earns 10 SC these days.. ohh the joy of calling up the velocity helpdesk

7th May credited overnight. Am now sitting on the qualifying sectors and SC for Gold but waiting for account to show upgrade...

Status upgrade done overnight. So quicker than getting the actual flights posted.

If it was a domestic flight, you must have been on a "Restricted Economy" fare across "Zone 2":

Sorry, my bad. Should have clarified it is a fare between Sydney and Brisbane and should have been credited at 15 SC each, so missing 10 SC
I wonder how much do we have to remember

I lodged a claim online on the weekend for Mr Jurahn's flights on 8 May - one has now posted, the other one hasn't and is just sitting there with a status of "Claim Submitted". Thought I might as well put claims in for his other two flights as well - the system accepted the claim for the flight on 10 May, but is telling me that the details for the one on 13 May "have already been submitted" (which they haven't). Looks like I'll be making a call to Velocity ...

Pleased to say the remaining 3 flights all credited today, so at least that saves me a phone call!

Depends - if part of an internatonal itinerary, then the tables are different (and SYD-BNE can earn 10 SC in that case)

Seems all over the place, noticed today that my BNE-SYD flight from the 11/5 just posted, however, my SYD-BNE flight on the 10/5 has not.

Flew Monday, still nothing. Virgin is a bumbling mess.

They really need to invest in IT, instead of spamming me with almost daily car hire/wine deals/flybuys transfers

8 month recap -

• In flight entertainment needs to be updated more often + more variety of movies/docos/podcasts
• Exactly the same breakfast served (scrambled eggs, potato gems and a tomato wedge)
• Points take ages to post, if they post at all...
• Spirits in lounge? (or is that asking for too much? QF lounges are overall superior)
• App for Android is very basic (can't comment on iOS)
• Virgin Website and Velocity open up multipul windows/tabs upon windows/tabs - can it be streamlined somehow? Very messy
• No lifetime status credits

careful what you wish for.. they cant even get the iOS version right or the website. You will just end up with an android app that does not work properly.

They really need to invest in IT

Normally 4 days post flight to be credited, now waiting longer than four days for domestic flight I took from Perth last week.

Requested a Delta flight to be credited to me which I flew on almost two months ago, emailed them two weeks ago, that hasn't come through yet, which is understandable as its a retroactive request.

Their website has given me multiple times to wait to request flights to be credited and how long it usually takes, on different FAQ URL's.

Just turned up today some eight days after my last flight!

But at least they've fixed seat selection... you now need to double click to select your seat so you don't select the wrong seat by mistake... /s

Is there something we can do collectively to make VA improve this. If qantas can credit before I have left the airport, it cant be that hard for VA to credit the same day.

I have always had great success with DL posting. VA flights take 8 - 12 days to post. Its a joke and I only wait 2 days then do an online claim now

Last weekend flew DL on Sunday to LAX and then VA to SYD. DL SC were in my Velocity account arriving into SYD on Tuesday morning.
