VA Points / SC Credits - Anyone notice how slow it has become recently

I'm yet to be credited with points BNE-CNS on 26th May (13 days).
Is there someone from VA on this forum who can cast light on what the situation is?
Is there a more forensic examination of these? I'm doing family pooling - is there a correlation between family pooling and slow credit of points/SC?

I've just been credited with BNE-SYD from 30 May but not SYD-BNE from 29 May... So how did I get to BNE?

Re: Posting of points

Similar experience here. All seem to be posting but slow and out of order. I now have half of a BNE trip and half of a PER trip posted but not the other leg. Trips were a week apart.

Re: Posting of points

Yep same here - flights flown on 26th May posting slow and out of order appearing on the 8th and 9th June.

Re: Posting of points

Just get used to calling up. On the other hand, I was just awarded Platinum before reaching 1000 SCs so their coughpy systems have worked in my favour for once.

Re: Posting of points

Interesting partner airlines are now posting faster to Velocity than VA flights - and they are the majority owner of Velocity?!?

My SQ flights flown last weekend appeared in less than 24 hours...

Re: Posting of points

Melbourne to Sydney - Flown 24/05 posted 8/06, felt like a long time on that one.

Re: Posting of points

Looking at my own flights, any flight I took in May took a week to 10days to post. So far my flights in June have been taking the "normal" 48-72hrs.
Maybe some upgrades to their system during May?

My EY flights posted at 72 hours (ok for partner) meanwhile still waiting on my dom VA flights 6.5 days ago....*crickets and tumbleweed*

What is going on at Velocity... or is it on VA's end I wonder.

Re: Posting of points

have been painful of late and there doesnt seem to be any logical pattern to why one leg (a return) will post 2 days before the first flight.

last couple:
flown 26/5 processed 9/6
flown 24/5 processed 8/6
flown 23/5 processed 31/5

the list goes on but the 7-10 day range seems to be the new normal. would be interesting if virgin would care to comment.

Re: Posting of points

Gold requalification date for the kezzakawasaki household was 7 June 2017

MEL LST SYD flown 4 June 2017 (missing points claim lodged 5 June 2017 for me to see if it would push through) - processed date 6 June 2017
MEL LST SYD flown 4 June 2017 (no missing points claim lodged for partner as a comparative experiment) - processed date 7 June 2017

Overall, points and SC posted in the normal timeframes without follow up (3 days) but posted quicker using missing point claim (2 days)

I believe there was an issue for the month of May. All my June flights are posting within 72hrs. image.jpg

The VA reps aren't on very much and seem to frequent the "Ask VA" sub-forum.

My concerns about slow SC crediting were family pooling as well. I found (above) that a retro claim (which takes about 2 mins if you have your flight details handy) successfully triggered all flights posting - others have commented similarly. Don't just wait - be proactive after 5 days if not posted.

I'm a still waiting for points and SCs from a Singapore airlines VA codeshare . My ADL-SIN-ICN-SIN all posted 24 hours after flying but the final leg SIN-ADL never did . Did the online retro claim , got rejected , rang up and told I booked a fare which wasn't eligible which I said I had and I have the ticket with the booking class on it , email it through and waiting , waiting waiting. This was back in early May.
Back in February, I flew South African airways JNB-VFA return and they didn't post. Same process , had to ring up and was told i booked it through velocity using points so I was ineligible !! I said I clearly used money and I have the ticket here and you can check my velocity account and see no points have been deducted for a SAA flight ! She didn't want a bar of it and kept saying I wasn't eligible. I explained to her we got upgraded at the gate both ways because the flight was full and maybe that was the problem. Anyway after a few emails , the said "only due to goodwil gesture we will give you 200 points and 10sc each way".
Virgin really treat you like your a idiot. I've got no idea What's going on , but they have really dropped their game .
