VA8 LAX / BNE is now showing on time and is due to touch down 07:00 ish in Bris ......... The forward schd's also look good for VA7 / 8 / 23 /24 ......Would appears the wheels are back on .........

A bag of Brown M&M's for whom ever cracks the facts as to what actually went down here .........Virgin have been able to keep what went on behind the really heavy set of hanger doors ..........

Hmmmmm spoke to soon ...... not the case ........ they are still running 'way' late ........... the bag of brown M&M offer still stands ......... would seem to be a fairly major unplanned tech issue ...... ??????

This is what the fourth time they have done this?

Amazing Menzies still have the contract.

I agree but "most" Americans and illegals in the US do not use 24hr formats (as well as the metric system) and my lack of am/pm has no excuse other than laziness on the ipad. Common sense goes a long way and is expected rather than an off topic debate of the obvious.

Pardon my French but WTF is an "illegal"?

Pardon my French but WTF is an "illegal"?

Refers to the large population of fence jumpers aka Mexicans that enter my country illegally.

I wonder if the plane was towed into a fence last Monday when nobody at virgin knew what was going on about my flight.

As I understand it, from another source, a fence had a role to play.

VH-VPD is back and operating VA2 tonight.

Perhaps it is time for J.B. to pass the hat around at Edmondstone Road and then go out and buy about ten 40' containers of industrial strength bubble wrap and have it shipped to LAX pronto ?????

Or change terminal and contractors

VA1 today has been cancelled. Suspect that VH-VPD was meant to operate this flight. Perhaps there was enough space on DL16 to accomodate everyone...

According to FR24 VH-VPD operated VA2 to SYD yesterday, so is it in SYD now?

VA 8 shows on time - few minutes early to arrive just before 7am ..... this morning in BNE ......... VA7 back to LAX showing on time at this point .......worlds back in balance ?

VH-VPD is still out of action in SYD. VA2 was cancelled tonight and VA1 cancelled yesterday. Remains to be seen whether VA1 later today will run.

VA needs to expand its fleet and destinations internationally so that there is some chance of covering these unexpected downtimes. One hopes that the ground handling improves at LAX

Is there a ground handler at LAX getting kickbacks from QF every time they break a VA 777?

Or is someone being employed on a three strikes system, and we should be prepared for this to happen one more time?
