I just got my AZ #2 reminder for Wednesday next week.

Double Dipped today. So far no arm pain or other symptoms. But don't anyone tell Mrs NM as I am planning to receive some sympathy shortly

Arm just slightly tender this morning. Now passed 24 hours since the upgrade and the only other side effect is that my bluetooth earpiece won't connect to anything today, so using speaker on my phone for calls while putting it through the "have you tried turning it off and on again" process. Glad its the bluetooth earpiece that is the symptom and not a heart abnormality as that may not be quite so easy to reset .

Well that was fast! My Digital COVID certificate is already available on MyGov and I’ve downloaded it to my Apple Wallet. So far, no symptoms at all from 1.30pm shot.

It’s now well over 24hrs since AZ #2 and I have absolutely no side effects at all. Not even a sore arm. Hope I didn’t get the placebo!

The 2nd generally has less side effects than the first. Hoping for a similar experience with my 2nd next week.

MrsK had the same reaction. Her 1st shot knocked her around a bit, but her reaction to the 2nd shot was nothing glass of bubbles couldn't fix.

Just had my AZ #2 after 12 weeks. Now waiting for my “picnic” pass to come through. I wish it would give access to dine in at the cafe let alone travel interstate or better overseas.

The local GP practice has 400 doses and is only doing AZ a few days a week and mainly 2nd doses.

6 months in from being double jabbed and after reading some comments on here regarding a booster I thought I would try my luck. Long story short, walked into pharmac_, waited about 5-10 minutes whilst a young couple got their Moderna and straight in for 3rd AZ jab no issues.
Took my Medicare details afterwards and said to allow next day for it to show on record

The nurse at my local GP said they can order in as much AZ as they want. There’s no shortage of that.

Well I got my "picnic" certificate this evening. Hope it's not long before I can use it for something more than that in VIC.

I had my 2nd Vaxzevria about 13 weeks after it was opened up to every adult 18+. I reckon nearly all adults have zero excuse to have not had at least one shot by now especially in VIC and NSW where you don't have to wait the full 12 weeks I did between vaccine shots.

Nice work. Pharmacists can't access your vaccination records. Asked SIL who works in a Vaccination hub in Adelaide who can see each person's history on vaccination as they present for their covid shot. Pharmacists seem the best place to go to if you are past the 6 months time frame. Currently. But that likely will change when boosters are approved. She had someone come in for a third shot just one month after the last one. She could see that and sent him on his bike. Politely of course.

My 3 teenagers 2nd jab yesterday. Had an appointment for today but did a walk-in at Boondall (QLD) as we were driving past on the highway, hardly anyone there, in and out very quickly, no wait at all.

A 5 jab individual now exists. Apparently 2AZ and 3PZ - with the 3PZ from jabs that would have been thrown out at the end of the day..

In any population, most would just follow the recommendations and get the treatment, some will refuse the treatment and at the other extreme some would be the "more is better" crowd

I have thought of getting along to the pharmac_ to get a 3rd pop, AZ or Moderna, I hear pharmac_ don't see you medical records.

Wonder what would eventuate once my medicare is updated to show this.

Yes yes I hear the 'your taking one that somebody else could be using'
we have more AZ that you can poke a stick at.

It would get added to AIR and show up on your Immunisation History Statement. Your vaccine certificate may be unaffected (not sure on that).

I don't think the government would want to draw attention to people doing this by getting anyone into trouble over it.

In any case by the end of next month we'll have enough vaccines to probably begin an official booster program or to start one soon afterwards for those who had Pfizer early in the rollout. At GPs and state hubs they would verify you meet the criteria for a booster at that point whether it's time since second dose of Pfizer, age, health issues, occupation etc.

No penalty, if recorded it will just show up on Pub license as a 3rd or more item

Other Consequence: think of the other countries eg our poorer neighbour countries and even Africa whose Vax levels are at maybe 5%. Equity/justice/fairness?.

Not if the extra jab you got would have been thrown away at the end of the day - once reconstituted with water it has to be jabbed or discarded
