Velocity to partner with 7-Eleven

Not to mention the pending merger between Viva (Shell Coles Express) with Shahin's OTR, which would see the Coles Express name phased out and replaced with OTR. I guess you may be able to redeem the Coles dockets at the existing BP/OTR (to be rebranded Shell OTR) if the ACCC gives the all clear.
At this point in time, I don't know which one will carry over, either that Viva will take over with that name for both (Coles Express now and OnTheRun).
My family are cheap skates, so will not go to any of these anymore, they go to Liberty or that one only mega cheap fuel outlet, (if you pay their $55 (edit: $60 annual fee)), at Churchill Centre, whose name I shall never say.
I only go to Coles Express to occasionally keep them interested (and them being current Coles Express/who ever new owner will do), ... and the slow way to keep VFF account alive, via FB.
The "real" BP, in South Aust, the ones that accept the QFF card via BP app, is quite a far way from my place, earn rate of 1 QFF point per $1 spent.
The fake/"OTR" BP, yes, those are close by, but as of now, I cant earn a lot of QFF points with them, 0.25 points via QTMC.
The way OTR did it, they were very cunning blocking out 7-eleven from entering South Aust.
Edit: Viva's Mr Wyatt said in an article, that OTR will be the new name of the current Coles Express outlets.
Maybe they might do a tie in with VFF, who knows.
Supposedly FB will still continue with the Viva takeover, for how long, also, who knows.

I just received this offer:
Earn 250 bonus Points on each of your next four eligible purchases at 7-Eleven

Yeah I had that one recently. Just finished the fourth shop the other day (note that if it's the same offer there's something in the tsandcs that says each spend has to be on a different calendar day). My wife's account got "Earn 1000 points on your next eligible purchase", which seems a little unfair--not sure why the algorithm decided to give her account all the points in one hit.

My sister got an offer of 1 transaction for 711 bonus points.

The difference is I use 711 a faie bit and my sister not so much. The offers are targeted based on consumer habits.

To make it fair would be not to conduct such offers.

It's done over different days to prevent someone walking in an buying 4 slurpees over 4 transactions in one store visit.

It's no different than Flybuys with their spend $xx_ in a single transaction or spend $xx in a single transaction over 4 weeks.

I miss Victoria very much, the nearest and cheapest state for me to fly to, do things, and get bonus VFF points by buying stuff from 7 elevens.
Might pop over in Oct.

I got an offer for 1 purchase (of any amount ) for 1000 Velocity pts, a 1x 45 g Kit Kat for $1 and one free regular coffee concurrently...so I parted with a $1... :)
Yeah I got a 1000 offer too. No 7 elevens anywhere near me. But I always activate them just in case - not sure when it expires but I'll be going to Brisbane in Sept & Oct. Will prob be exp by then. It was funny when I was in Bangkok - there was literally (no hyperbole) 5 x 7 Elevens within 200m of the motel I was staying - great deals there too - lotsa different stuff and cheaper than here - even sold beers that I brought home for me kids coz I don't drink beer - I thought they might like cheapo Thai beers and other 7-eleven snacks that we don't have here - they did.

You can screenshot your 7-11 card and send it to someone who lives near a 7-11 and they can buy something...

In the end, I guess, its possible, I mean, you or I or anyone, could to go Stocard, and if we know someone's 7 elven bar code #, could easily scan that at the checkout of a 7 eleven store or petrol outlet, anywhere in Aust.
Its vey unlikely the check out girl/guy would not say anything, after all, they (the outlet) and the staff are getting paid, ie, we have not done a take fuel and escape, but who knows what the back end of the system is.
Could/would they know, if we have scanned, or someone has scanned, a 7 eleven app bar code, that is not theirs.
7 elven does not have the same system as BP of using points to pay for fuel/items, so maybe its easier.
(((I know nothing, as Sgt Schultz always loves to say, on Hogan's Heroes))), or was it heros?

TBH - IF I was going to do it - I would have only asked my son in Bris - but I doubt he'd bother haha. He's always so busy anyway and I dunno if he deigns to go into 7 eleven 🤔 Myself am not that precious. I like their deals and I'll put it out there - I don't mind their coffee 😜

Yep, my brother is like that, he has a driving licence, and does drive, but is not so manic about earning FF points.
Yes that's my son. When I told him I hit SG then WP he just rolled his eyes and moaned on about people who "go on about collecting SC & points" to level up. I nearly choked. Like what's wrong with that? I mean he's talking about me and all my virtual AFF friends here. He travels so much for work - I asked him did he even make sure his work puts is FF number on his flights and he says "no" - I don't even.... Like what the...... Well he must have thought about it because a few weeks later he messaged me asking for his Qantas and VA FF numbers haha. I did ask him recently if he knew what Tier he was (I think his work flies Qantas mostly) and he just shrugged but I'm going to make him show me his phone next time I'm down and have a look myself. 😜 Despite his alleged appathy I do think he'd think he was King 💩 if he was SG or WP 😂

Off T, would be WP if his work allows him subclass of J.
Or if QF gives him a regular "upgrade" due to his work relationship with QF.
My only op up was when my whY seat was gerzumped by a whole team of sport kids travelling MEL - ADL, not that I got to visit the lounge, as I was at the gate, saw the huge number of kids at the departure gate, scanned my paper BP, this was a few years ago, and found out, I got 2A, from the back of the bus.On T.

Turns out, no 7 eleven close/walkable to Tullamarine Airport, the only one close by is the near Airport West SC.
So, I would need to get a bus from Tullamarine Airport to Airport West.
Though, will be using the 7 eleven app a lot between pre Christmas and Boxing Day this year, ...
Heh, how many points max can be earnt, (non fuel), if I visit 5 different 7 elevens in a day?
Lets see, 1 visit: Southern X, then maybe a train to somewhere up North Melbourne, then tram to near then Port Melbourne, then 7 eleven Yarraville, then the one at Preston.
Most are open 24 hours, and only $7.20 max fare for Christmas Day.

I want you to be fat.
A take of of that song I want you to be brave.
7 eleven dont have a smidgen of fresh healthy items, eh?
7 eleven South Bank Melbourne is next to several hotels I stay at, but all their items are "fatty", either long lasting like chocolate bars, or things like cookies and cream, or pies, pasties, sausage rolls, and lets not forget that Krispy Kremes.

It is a convenience store after all...

But if you look closely there are some decent salads and sandwiches that aren't total rubbish.

I am at work all hours of the day and night so I know the range...though we (finally) got a decent coffee machine in the office so I feel for the local franchisee who has probably had a noticeable drop in the coffee takings!

they do have fresh sandwiches delivered daily, along with wraps.
personally those offerings are very nice, fresh & healthy.

other items totally agree, full of sugar at every turn.
