Appears you can now " pay with points" in the normal booking site , a tab appears at the top ( and I was not logged into account)
The most notable change I can see is that economy and business fares are now displayed together when searching for bookings - there is no longer a drop down on the home page to choose econ, prem or bus.
But... business saver has vanished from the IBE and the fares overview page. Make it cleaner but I hope it wasn't a devious way to raise all the prices.

Correct. Business Saver now appears to be extinct, probably a good move to display business fares as well as flexi and saver lites etc but at those prices I can't see them being rushed off their feet with J class passengers. Y fares look to be normal.
Does anyone know where I can add my FF number to my booking (made by someone else). I have looked everywhere. There is a section called update details (or something similar) however it says I need to ring up.
Is there much difference in crediting a discount flight to VA or Etihad?
You should be able to add it via manage my booking if you have the booking reference and last name
as for adding to Velocity or EY .. is it domestic or international ? do you have status with either? what is the route and fare class ?
I tried MMB with the reference and last name.
I'm flying PHE-PER in discount Y. I have gold with etihad and about to loose gold with Virgin, so will be silver by then.
Didn't want to make a new thread since when do points earnt on the estore transfer to the pooling account? Maybe I've just never noticed but was surpised to find a lot of points in my wifes account which should be in mine...
All points you earn are pooled, regardless of how they were earned...since always!
I was just on the QF site and was logged in. Looked up some reward flights and clicked 'continue' (or whatever) and got a pop-up which said I needed to be logged in to look at reward flights! The disease is spreading!!
No - the VA IT team are still in front when it comes to incompetence, looks like they have modified or redesigned the online check in process, as it certainly looks different. Same result though - see below.

So it's not just me then? I tried checking in earlier for my flight home tonight and got the same error.
However when I tried for my wife it seemed fine.

Worked again when I tried later so maybe persistence is the key? When I did get it working, I discovered my pre-allocated seating preference of Aisle does not seem to be sticking and it wants to allocate me windows all the time. In seat selection, when you have 2 flights in one booking its also a bit tricky to find how to allocate seats on the second flight, but I did eventually find it (more by accident than design). Ignore the first rendering of the boarding passes, it gives you a chance to email and print boarding passes later on (but does not say that at the time).
Well I checked in...5a then went to check my wife in it shows 7b! Can't get anywhere near me so haven't checked her in. Here's hoping the BNE lounge angels can do something for me!
