Re: total price missing from website

Jeeze these idiots make it tough to give them money.

Here I am, trying to buy a heap of J seats from them and their booking engine will only go to mid way through September next year! Why do we bother?

Doesn't everyone only sell seats <330 days in advance? I was stalking seats for 2nd Sept last week!

Re: total price missing from website

Looks like Qantas release at 350 days, is that right?
in this instance I think it's the policy that's causing this, not the website (for a change!!)

Re: total price missing from website

Anyone else getting error/looping (again) when they sign into Velocity and then try to access their "earn" to ebay?

Fair enough ... so can I complain that I still get the error message when trying to log in to Velocity? 'cause I do ... still!

Again? I didn't realise it ever stopped!

But to answer your question, yes to both today. I just added up the fares and I'm trying to give them $5332.96 and they are making it very frustrating ... I know I wouldn't make it so difficult if someone wanted to give me $5k. I wonder why they can't make money?

Trying to book flights for Friday.

Chrome and IE keep kicking me back to the selection page

Tried Firefox and I get "HTTP Status 404 Authentication Failed" error.

Deleted cookies, browsing history and rebooted and now Im not even getting the error message but it keeps looping back to the date selection page on all three

I guess VA doesnt want me to fly on Oct 7th.. well, not with them.

I'm trying to book a SYD-SDF in J and having the same issue. Calls & tweets to the "Customer Service" representatives tell me that it must be my browser- IE Firefox and Chrome are all at fault apparently and they have no technical assistance available. They also advised that they have received no other complaints about the site. Attempted a feedback post but it too seems have reloaded the page & the complaint has disappeared- may be the reason they don't know about it. Rant over- Over to American or Qantas for this one

Same like other Velocity members here and on Facebook, i could not log into the E Store to take advantage of the Bonus Points promo which ends today.
Too bad i was planning to spend quite a bit of money.
It seems like people cannot do online bookings too. What a joke the website is.

C'mon, give them a chance! This thread has only been running for three and a half years advising them of that! It'll probably take them another three or four years before the penny drops .... that's the problem with the world of today, we want everything to happen immediately!

Qantas (Amadeus) 353 days.

VA (SABRE) 330 days.

Whenever I want to do any bookings for VA, I put my browser (Chrome) into Incognito mode. Sure, it means I have to log onto my account again, but I never receive any of the errors that I constantly read about in this thread. Perhaps that is a solution for the errors some people are getting?

I recently booked via Priceline.com as it was the only place I could find the deal that was coming up on Google Matrix. Anyways, I can access the booking via the Virgin website using the booking reference that Priceline gave me, but when I click on any of the options (i.e change seat) it tells me it can't be done with this booking and I need to contact the Guest Centre. Similarly, when I try to email myself an e-ticket/itinary from the home page, when I enter the details, it doesn't recognise the details and won't load the booking. Lastly, when I log in to Velocity and try to link the booking to my account, it loads the booking, but doesn't link it to my account. Are these normal failings for Velocitys website or bookings via an online travel agent?

Ironically, the second leg of my journey is on Air NZ and I am able to log in and select seats fine on their page.

just tried to book some flights..

Is anyone else having issues logging into their velocity accounts?

I've been having off and on issues for the past few days but its now at the point where Firefox and Chrome just keep saying there is a redirection error and that's it.

Me too, but I think it's because they've got a new login page but have not bothered to redirect the old page.

Try this one.
