lol, read that, too. Given that I don't have any pallets and there's always an outlier, I was after more intel.
I have the 2018 which I quite enjoyed the other night with a steak dinner! Also used half a cup of it to make one of the best jus’ I’ve made in a while!
I’m not very good at describing wine sorry but I found it very smooth. Lots of fruit! No huge pepper kick, just a little there. Very easy to drink!

I dare say that 2018 would be a lot different to 2017 - Eden Valley

Halliday was the main fan of 2017 in South Australia. Many others were more cautious.
My experience is that I found them too often too lean and with hard tannins or out of balance acid, I much prefer 2018 reds from South Australia and bought heaps.

Thanks so much for the explanation! I’ve only in the last couple of years started getting into wine and really enjoy learning bits like this!
If I come across a wine I’m interested in I quite off search for it in here to see what has been said about it in here. Has been super useful!
