Thanks for the list. Looking at the highest discounts, looks like getting the onikishi for around that price elsewhere is possible.

Has anyone ever tried the Spirit Thief Future Black? Best I cld see it for elsewhere was $230 and looks vaguely interesting, even if they do kinda say they mixed up 12 casks and bottled it...

Nice one - a lot of Whisky novices find the Islay peated malts a little intense for a while so if you’re enjoying that you definitely might want to explore some other peated options. Personally, without going crazy on price, I am a massive fan of Port Charlotte Heavily Peated (10 yr old). Currently on for $110 at Dans. Nothing to recommend in the Whiskymofo selection.

I’m relatively new to this whisk/y/ey game but have taken a liking to Laphroaig 10yo - open to suggestions on what to try? I normally only drink Bourbon with coke for a sugar hit at 3am after a big night…

I find the Laphroaig Quarter Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) | Nicks Wine Merchants a classier option than the standard 10yo. And currently cheaper than the 10 yo at Nicks.

I'm also a massive fan of the quarter cask. More depth and balance than the 10 which is a strait classic Islay peated malt. Also if you're ever rolling through duty free, the one other Laphroaig I always pick up there is the PX Cask. Also on at Nicks but not as good value as the quarter cask.
