Vinomofo Wine Deals

Does anyone have any idea of what the Black Market Hunter Semillon and Chardonnay are?

A few new black market deals arrived this morning, including these....

2009 Margaret River Shiraz @ $129.60 a case.

2011 McClaren Vale Cabernet @ $90 a case. (Possibly the Tatachilla? Can't find any matching tasting notes for this one with the "cassis" reference)

Any clues? I'm tossing up between risk /return of a case of each, versus the safety of a dozen the Peter Lehman HV Cab Sav 2010 + 2k bonus points on Epiqure for the same price ( with my mof_ $20 credit applied)

Odd they show a bottle of Rose in their bottle shot, anyway I think I'll give this one a miss (Halliday overrating again)

The DMs Shingleback seems like a great deal. However, I'm trying to reduce my holding, but don't seem to be having much success.

Opening the last of my very nice Lagreins , I was ripe for another gamble so took a punt on the Malbec.
I'm not at all sure this morning , what I was thinking last night, …..as I'm not really a Malbec fan….
too late…….

Seppelt St Peters Shiraz 2010 - $330 for a 6 pack

I am very tempted by the Seppelt even though my wine budget this month is already in the negatives.

Same here... You have to draw the line somewhere.

I am still purchasing faster than I can drink.

Also, I am doing Dry July + 2 additional weeks on medical advice, so that's ~6-7 weeks of buying with no drinking :o

I can't see you doing that additional two weeks

A few people will be keeping an eye on you come August 10.
Mind you, I'm sure you could get a note from a doctor excusing you for the day, on the day.

Any ideas on this ?

Re: Vinomofo secret wine deals

Just opened my first bottle of the sparkling white. Ordered a 6-pack, should have got at least a dozen. We will be having a party in a couple of months, it's excellent and I would not be ashamed to serve it. I hope it comes back around soon. (I presume they do get rotated?)
