Vinomofo Wine Deals

Those who are members of the wine companion and use the virtual cellar, have you noticed that the "drink by year" drop down filter actually filters by production year, not the drink by year? I might have to send them an email about that, I'd find it quite handy if it works as per the name :D

Good luck with that, I've asked them to fix some basic search and data problems various times over the past few years with about nil result.

Yeah, the site is actually pretty cough, could do with a makeover to bring it up to standards for sure. I've sent an email off anyway, can't hurt :D

EDIT: Actually that sort option does work sometimes, just not all the time. If you change it to something else and then back it tends to kick in. Point still stands :D

One last crack .... Olivers Taranga Vineyards McLaren Vale Shiraz 2013.
Could only find the tasting notes for the 2012 on their site, but the Alcohol, Price and Drink By all match up for the review on Wine Companion. They are also a 5 star winery ... not sure I'd call them a famous producer though.

Not Olivers.

I'm off to the gym for an hour or so, if you haven't worked it out by the time I get back I'll give you a clue.

The first thing that came to mind was the d'Arenberg Wild Pixie Shiraz as the price is right but their website doesn't indicate a 2013 release, and not sure if the alcohol matches in any case.

If it's Wild Pixie, I'm in for 20 cases!

EDIT: Latest Wild Pixie, appears to be the 2011. VM have featured the Wild Pixie (2009) as a VIM deal previously.
