Just threw my boss a $20 for one of these Maverick Trial Hill Shiraz bottles - see if it lives up to it's price tags and write ups!

Jumped on the $10.50 black market pinot noir. Peter Leske makes some good stuff and I'm running short on everyday quaffing pinots. Lansdowne pinot noir 2012 matches the description but RRP is off by $2.
This is spectacular wine for $21 in my opinion.
Anyone receive the Cab Merlot 2009 from a couple of weeks ago? Think it was a WA wine.
This turns out to be Collalto pinot noir 2012. Very small boutique vineyard. Never heard of it but the bottle looks nice at least. Will pop one open tonight.
Nope but I own both the Sabre and Dagger which are great drops too. I can't imagine that it would be much different. Tim Knappstein's stuff is always good!Did anyone else go for the Knappstein Riposte Pinot Noir? Just sampled my first bottle tonight. Yum! A quaffer perhaps but delicious

Spot on Princess Fiona, confirmed by Vinomofo during a telephone conversation.
I was also told by The Fo that the Duck Sauce Pinot is a rebranded De Bortoli - did anybody know this?
This vintage was, the previous vintage was made by Tucks Ridge i believe.
They mention the winemaker on the Duck Sauce advertising, a google search shows he works for De Bortoli
Thanks for the reply rawlex. May I welcome you to AFF and the Vinomofo thread.
