Has the BM Pyrenees Cabernet $8.90 been revealed? 91pts Winefront
Possibly Glenlofty

I thought the same but cannot find either of the 90 or 91 pt reviews for the wine. Glenlofty website is far from helpful.
Has anyone actually tried the Common Ground Cab Sav? Reviews read well.
I enjoyed it! Far better than the 10 Chains I purchased at the same time
I'm Keen to know the Mclaren Vale Shiraz though.

Would todays latest offering of 2014 Cab Sav possibly be the Claymore 'Bittersweet Symphony'?
If so any thoughts?

Ahh well JRod, it's not the eligo; but the 111 Associates guys make v good wine via Brian Light from memory, who I think was a driving force for Ulithorne.Yep I stand corrected. Looks like it may be the iii Associates. It sounds like a new deal, but an old post here indicates they've had this deal before. Bit underwhelmed now
That's certainly enlightening AC, and Beefarmer called ME a harsh marker! So a margin of 4-5 points separating heaven and hell, wow. Unfortunately I can't peruse the Wine Front material as I'm not a subscriber but Phillip White is certainly an ardent fan...

My lowest rating wines are in the 85-86 bracket. Well, I taste stuff below that, but I can't be bothered taking photos and posting about those. They're the "down the sink" type stuff. FWIW, I use the CT guidelines adjusted by one bracket:
86-89 - Good
90-91 - Very Good
92-93 - Excellent/Outstanding
94-97 - Amazeballs (never got beyond 94)
97+ - wine I can't afford
Whilst I appreciate the tough scoring, I would not be happy peaking at 94. Furthermore, who says wine you can't afford will deliver that 5 point extra wow factor? Thanks for the elucidation...

There were good reports back on this thread for this wine, so I'm happy. The assessment on arrival is always v interesting(can't wait to my tentacles into this in view of the squids around this label).

Each to their own...scoring systems.
