Vinomofo Wine Deals

The Shiraz is very good, I posted a tasting note on it sometime last week. I'm still waiting to taste the Cabernet. I probably won't get a chance to try it until the weekend. I'm not a GSM fan, so I can't comment on that.

Here is my post regarding the shiraz:

Wonderful, thanks. The straight shiraz looks like it might be a new product for them.

I didn't think I was either but loved their '13 GSM btw.

Yes, and the cabernet is different this year also. It is a straight cabernet, not a blend. Maybe the 2015 Barossa vintage was so good that no blending was required this year. Based on how good the shiraz was I have high hopes for the cabernet.

Cracked another bottle of the 14 on Tuesday. Yikes is it rough without a bit of airtime. Planning on the rest tonight (once I'm finished at the gym :D )

I am imagining the picture....one sweaty blackcat straight out of the gym trying to enjoy the 14 gsm......after the workout, what can be said.......I am hoping that the 2014 aint bad but I fear I aint gonna get it.,

I'm keen to hear if you like the doctors rose. Been watching that one for summer

It's pretty good, though as usual I wouldn't want to pay "full price". I was a little concerned when I saw it was a deep pink colour & touted itself as strawberries & cream. I feared a confectioned pinot. But blow me down it does taste of strawberries & cream but thankfully no cloying sweetness. I think that's why they added some fiano to the brew to tart it up - it works. The pure Provence is much more restrained & has that lovely lingering after-taste. I don't know how Decanter came to judge it worlds best, but happy enough. It will be a bit warmer tonight in Adelaide, see how they fare.

It went down pretty well...being open for 2 days prior probably helped.

As promised (sorry I am a bit slow with this, it's been a busy week at work), the contents of the Black Market Shiraz and Blends case.

4 x Allegiance "The Artisan" Shiraz 2015
2 x Churchview Estate Range Shiraz 2014
2 x Gapstead Limited Release 2015 Heathcote Shiraz
2 x Richard Hamilton Shiraz 2014 (if I was judging a wine by its label, I'd be disappointed in this one, it's very drab)
2 x Fox Creek Fox and Hounds Shiraz Cab Merlot 2014

We opened the Fox and Hounds and it was OMG good. I'll be watching out for more of that to come on the 'fo (if anyone spots it, please let me know!). Hubby wants to lay the other bottle down but I just want to drink it! I'm not sure of the other wines, though a bit disappointed that there were four of the same wine in the case, I'm not sure if that was meant to be or if there's been some stuff up.

I can find the original offer by googling, but it's not on the site, and it only lists 5 different wines, so I wonder if it's random. If it is, I wish I'd got four of the Fox and Hounds!!! Any advice on the other wines (cellaring etc) greatly appreciated.
