Cracked open a 2015 maverick twins gsm and Geoff hardy gruner veltliner tonight. Wife and I do not like the 15' gsm and it's also quite peppery. We love The 13' gsm though. The regional series gruner is quite nice; never had one before.

Coombe Farm isn't really Upper Yarra, more in the centre of the valley.

According to Wine Cellary it is "Red Hill Estate 2012 Mossolini Mornington Peninsula Shiraz". Not sure if that's right. Very little info on this wine except it won a bronze somewhere but the points awarded were different.

I'm pretty sure it's right - they've had the 2013 up before, with the same pricing. I think Beefarmer bought some - search for posts around that timeframe.

The 2015 Better Half PN was vinified de-stemmed. Not whole bunch fermentation. Not sure about 2016 though.

Based purely on past Barossa deals with that pricing pair it could be a Thistledown wine, but I can't find any mention of a Malbec from them.

Rusden and Langmeil produce Malbecs, but prices don't match.
