So the Domaine du Penlois Morgon 2014? You're right , of course AC. $25 is about right. It's not a light fleshy Beaujolais but does have the aroma of the young drink now style. Lacks any real depth of flavour but no nastiness. Quite a reasonable drop - I may have preferred to have tried when younger when it may have displayed more fruit characteristics. Certainly the Decanter review calling it feminine (what does that mean?) paints a very different picture. As an aside, it is imported by VM so the notional $50 is even more ephemeral ... Having said that, trying it during the recent Adelaide heat probably did it no favours. Happy enough.
