Vinomofo Wine Deals

Thank you in advance for setting something up. Please share the website once it's going.
I am quite busy at the moment. Before I have a website merlotpen.com but shut down after a year due to no maintenance. If I set up a website, does everyone come to on my forum and discuss this topic?

We're all busy

Good luck. I doubt anyone will commit.

I used to keep a fairly detailed tracking list of offers. However, VM when through a phase where everyone was just complaining about the offers, info and service. I doubt you'll find a sustainable audience, as people will move onto other things.

This thread has many thousands of posts, so is the most sustainable thing I've seen so far. If you need help identifying a wine, please post your request.

The con of forum is hard to track. if I don't come here for a week, I have to click all pages what I missing.

There is a search function. Also you can certainly ask for details of deals.

However if you set up a site and don't figure out the deals yourself, you need to ask yourself why would other people spend their time working out the deals for you? If you have an answer then you'll have a successful site :)

I can't search it by paste the web address in the search box.

Did anyone buy the Giant Steps Merlot from VM and if so what did they think? I got cases of the 13 and 14 vintage but after opening a bottle of the 14 with friends on the weekend it seems something is wrong with it - maybe over heated in storage? All of us felt it wasn't right. Did anyone else find this? Know can send back but it may have been just 1 bad bottle, find it unusual for Giant Steps though. Interested if anyone had similar

I've only had one bottle of my 2014 Giant Steps Merlot. It tasted young, but otherwise was drinking quite well. My advice would be to try another bottle. VM's return policy allows you to try two bottles from a dozen and still qualify for a return if you don't like it.

We had a bad bottle of the 14 but just tipped it out and moved on.

Only got a case of the 2014 when it came up on VM and am kicking myself for not going back in for a repeat purchase, I'd not had any Giant Steps products before this but really loved it. My only thought is that all of the bottles that I opened had what I can only describe as a touch of the barnyard funk about them, this blew off only a few minutes later and wasn't evident upon tasting the same bottle second time around (next day)...

Family has opened the SHIRVINGTON 2012 Shiraz from couple of weeks back, very impressed with it.

Another box enroute freight free - try ringing VM if looking for this wine.

I bought 2 doz of each, quaffing thru both with the aim of cellaring a doz of both. Let's call it a "double blind trial"! The 13 is more approachable now. The 12 has big fruit and acid. Both will reward cellaring and excellent buying at the VM prices if you enjoy the McLaren Vale style.

I also brought three dozen 2012, 1 dozen 2013. Tried a couple of bottles of 2013, I was very impressed. Have anyone tries 2013 Cab Sab?

We love Shrivinton Cab Sav 2009, one of the best cab sav we have had so far.

Also , anyone know what is this freshly rated Shiraz 2015 ?
