the 2012 maverick twins gsm is a ripper. had 2 of the case in december before it got hot and both really good. very true to the tasting notes offered. in fact, karel and kate, whoever they are are in my opinion pretty good at summing up the wine. As i have mentioned, at under a tenner, i think vinomofos consistency and ability to also find a stunner is amazing !! i hope you get some when it returns. i really don't think it will be if, rather when. Salute !

They said they'd have it in a few weeks, I'm definitely in and so is my mum (she took half my case of 2011 and has drunk most of it already, with our help).

I very much enjoyed the 2012. Have been on a self-imposed wine purchasing hiatus but will likely break when they restock it.

Not specifically a Vinofomo deal, but I would expect others here would like to know about it:

Received the same email. Did some quick calculations and figured on special you can generally find the 389 for $60/bottle and the 128 and 28 at $30/bottle. Hardly an amazing deal.

Ok, just checked DMs. Bin 389 $59 and the other two at $35/bottle.

Once again, Kalimna Club specials really are not very special at all.

Very poor deal. $200 is closer to what would be a good deal.

Bmhchang Can you advise what you thought of the Cruth. I bought a 6 pack last time it was on but haven't tried any yet.

Tried a bottle last night. Obviously it's still young and can do with some cellaring. For the price sold - ~$65 it's a decent price and compares well with other stuff I've bought at that price point (Clarendon Hills, Killakanoon). Definitely not worth $160 IMHO compared to what you get there. Heck, even stars like Eileen Hardy and the Octavius are 1/2 that price. I did have a bottle of the '06 Astralis the other night, and I'd rather have 3 bottles of that, vs. 6 bottles of the Cruth :)

Have no idea what it is but about to take a punt on the Black Market Mclaren Vale Shiraz $42.00 down to $12.60.
One of my friends is happy to share so worst case is I'm only stuck with 6.
