@ozshiraz I've had the standard Farmers Leap FARMERS LEAP SHIRAZ – $25.00 Per Bottle – Farmers Leap and the higher tiered FARMERS LEAP ‘THE BRAVE’ SHIRAZ – $40.00 Per Bottle – Farmers Leap and both are really decent wines (actually preferred the lower priced Shiraz to the $40 per bottle The Brave). I don't think you'll be disappointed

Thanks W&D, the 2016 Random Leap certainly did well at the Limestone Coast Wine Show last
year against some well known brands, eg Wynns, Orlando, Balnaves.

@ozshiraz I think it is indeed cracking value particularly at such a reduced price. Also note in the Limestone Coast Wine Show results that in 2018 the 2016 George Wyndham ‘I Am George’ Shiraz Cabernet won the BILL REDMAN TROPHY FOR BEST WINE OF SHOW which vindicates me somewhat as having tried it shortly after release (having pulled it off a shelf in DM without prior knowledge) I found it very moreish indeed ...

The wax dipped cork is confusing me but thought you guys might know given it's a "favourite of the 'fo".

RYMILL at GLENROY, S.A. isn't far from PENOLA, 14.5%ABV matches, but so do many others.
Unlikely match really.

I don't think your guess is that unlikely. If it is the Rymill, I'd make this the best deal Vinomofo has had in about 3 years!

Hollick is also in the area. Vinomofo have previously stocked their wines. But not sure the Ravenswood is wax dipped.

UPDATE: I contacted Vinomofo. They refused to confirm what the wine was.

They have had other CW Wines reds, this one is the only Cabernet on the Sam Kim site with 96 pts for 2018 Coonawarra and it's wax-sealed cork...
