The Ironstone is $24.99 at Winestar, but only in full dozens. Mystery MV167 Premium McLaren Vale Shiraz 2016 - Mystery Wine
This is now back as a non hidden label deal at the same price:

Although at the same time this wine was a little cheaper via Grays, I'm a little surprised they didn't sell out as a hidden label deal (some in my view unnecessarily worry about wines under cork). This is a good wine at a reasonable price.

Those of us who prefer not to buy wines under cork don't care about your view or the view anyone else who disagrees with our view on that matter. It's our choice and we are perfectly entitled to it for (in my view) quite valid reasons. I don't care what other people choose to do on this matter.
That's a strong reaction to someone's opinion considering you don't care.

Thoughts?
It's under cork.
I'm too old to be buying Cabernet, my partner won't drink it under about 15 yo.
I received a case of Will Domain Paladin Hill Matrix from VM

Just for the record it came sealed with stelvin enclosure despite VM advertising it under cork.

interestingly enough there is nothing on the bottle to indicate what type of wine it is. I suppose the winemaker thought that Matrix brand is widely known to be Cabernets blend.

Is that 1985 on the label? Bit confusing...

How did it drink?
I tried it yesterday at my local Japanese that allowed BYO.

I thought it was fantastic to my taste. The Bordeaux blend (72%Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, 11% Malbec, 6% Petit Verdot) works very well, it is a powerful wine yet very well structured and balanced, has fine acids, great not overpowering tannins, just beautiful on the palate tight and concentrated fruit with a hint of eucalyptus aroma. Very enjoyable indeed. Would be on par with the finest Voyager or Moss Wood offerings.

It is not cheap at $40 Cabernet Blend 2018 – Black Market Deal #37637 so I am not rushing to buy another 6 pack, however I am very pleased with this wine

Out of interest what do you eat at a Japanese restaurant that pairs well with a Cabernet blend?
It is a little quaint modern Japanese with interesting dishes Dinner Menu
it is only $5 pp for byo and they have Riedel glasses I believe that made the wine sing. I had Age-Dashi salmon, Harita Buns with slow cooked Pork belly and stole some of my wifes Teriyaki chicken. I would not call them to be an ideal pairing but was very enjoyable nevertheless as the food there is just terrific.

My brother is keen, but I'm trying to limit myself. Is it definitely worth it?

I've never had a bad wine from Pirramimma mostly from Grays auctions (although bought the 2016 Vineyard Select Shiraz from VM recently), big bold and beautiful, they are usually no shrinking violet but not lacking in complexity or finesse either, I can heartily recommend them...
