Vinomofo Wine Deals

Hi , this is my first post too. But i have really enjoyed reading many of the other posts and thoughts/insights into the different wines.

Does anyone know what the "restocked" Vintage sparkling 2008 might be and has anyone had one previosuly and are they alright...or a bit past it ?

Thanks

hogus, have you checked through the posts on this forum?

You would have found that this item has been offered MANY times before. It is the Yellowglen perle.

I had some come in a mixed case last year. Nothing special. For me sits at the $10 to $15 price range. Would need to drink it very soon I would think.

I declare today's Black Market Deal Shiraz ($10.50) to be the Limited Release 2014 Arturo Heathcote Shiraz.
I bought this last time and it's very good. Funky was the description then and it is a little different.great fresh berries, and nice subtle oak. It has a certain vibrance in it that makes it a little different..could could a bit of cab franc as I mentioned, I thought at the price it was seriously good.

Hhmm... Your description of the Glenlofty Shiraz was the reason I bought it, and I'm mighty glad I did. Now you've made me curious about the Arturo but I think I'll hold off for now. We just don't have the room at home to keep buying dozen after dozen.

Thanks all for the responses. Did anyone buy any last time and were they any good ?

I liked it, pretty good for $12. I preferred their Vintage Perle Rose which was $15 but I haven't seen for a while, everyone who tried it liked it too

Looks like i just made the VIM list. And yes its Devils Lair. They've had it for a while.

Compared to other offerings with dearth or misleading details, this have so MUCH details.
Alcohol, acidity, pH, residual sugar and all correct. WHY?

It's as if VM wants you to know.
I am still thinking. :)

Because theyve had it as a non-VIM offering for months, so obviously havent been able to sell it?

I've seen it sold out a couple of times on their website. infact i've seen quite a number of wines sold out only to see it come back a couple of days later. is this some sort of tactic they are using in trying to offload wines that are hard to sell.

You're right, with details like these it's very easy to work out:

"TECHNICAL DETAILS
Alc/Vol 14.8 %
Acidity 6.7 g/L
pH 3.53
Residual Sugar 0.3 g/L"

I'm out though, it's not enough of a saving for me, given DM have it for $38.

No, it's likely that they get fresh stock in.
