All good and thanks for pointers - I ended up taking a case of the Amelia Ironstone shiraz having been a fan of the cab merlot previously. Might have to look for another case of quaffers though now having noted Buzzard's comment above :)

Just a follow up. Cracked one / two of these open over the weekend. Fairly fruit forward, blackberry, cherry, maybe a bit of leather. Great quaffer for under a tenner a bottle.

Do you think it might get better with age?

To be honest Buzzard, my palate probably isn't developed well enough to give an accurate answer to that, and with stocks in our household being as low as they currently are, it's unlikely I'll find out :)

It did taste young though, as one would expect being a 2017, and not over structured. I normally find that maybe a good indicator is how it tastes on day two and I personally didn't think it was any better but neither was it significantly worse than after the first half hour of opening.

Would anyone have the inside knowledge if vinomofo are currently carrying any wines from epsilon? I recently read a blurb that sounded like one of the mof_ spiels but can’t find it.

Pretty random request but I thought I would just put it out there

I've never tried it but thanks for the input W&D.
96 points for a $20 wine seems high though.

I got the nicks email as well. I thought the blurb they put on that sounded exactly like something I read on one of the mof_ emails a few days earlier though that can’t find it now. Maybe I was mistaken.

If you call VM and ask if they have it they will tell you.
