But maybe not so potentially busy as MEL un less the departure time is somewhat similar to EK or QR 380s ex PER.Actually they could.
The T1 lounge is used for T2 departures.
You would have checked-in already. It's just a short walk and go through security again (once domestically, then internationally).
(I think this is similar to Melbourne, though more of a trek)
Wasn't that included in the J ticket in the VA 1.0, they had pay the lounge operator(s) in SYD, MEL and BNE when they used Plaza Premium and eventually switched to The House (formerly owned by Etihad)/MyLounge to provide lounge access for VAi J passengers pre-CovidLets say, just say, or g#sbag, or yak, what if VA(i) did mention, that is ONLY a what if, if VA did an agreement with the/a lounge ops in the independent PER T1 after int sec zone.
But have to pay exttra, or a part co payment.
Yes/no/maybe.
Considering they haven't come to an arrangement with a third party lounge (which they absolutely should) for their existing international ports, I'd say it would be a solid no on that arrangement.Lets say, just say, or g#sbag, or yak, what if VA(i) did mention, that is ONLY a what if, if VA did an agreement with the/a lounge ops in the independent PER T1 after int sec zone.

That wouldn't work either.I guess, if a person is a higher status member of VFF, (they could/could they) use the SQ KF lounge at PER T1 if they have enough time in transit?
Likely VA will operate those domestic tags as "international" flights, meaning the domestic only passengers will need ID and a D sticker boarding pass to show at a immigration officer in PER and vice versa. Unlikely VA will want to complicate things with through passengers clearing immigration (and re-check in if coming from DPS) when it's easier and quicker to turn the flight at the international gates (or Gate 50 in International Configuration)I guess, if a person is a higher status member of VFF, (they could/could they) use the SQ KF lounge at PER T1 if they have enough time in transit?
Yes, it would be a rush if VA did the OOL and ADL to PER sectors as a dom flight, and only give 1.5hrs transit in PER.
Granted its not as busy as MEL T2/SYD T1/BNE, and PER T1 is quite compact, but still, would 1.5hrs be enough.
If VA did the OOL and ADL to PER sector as int flights, then a bit easier in PER, would they keep pax in the int transit zone, or let pax go via transit zone into the int dep area where the int lounges are.
Lots of presuppositions, and wait and see.
If flying OD "biz" class you do have lounge access at T1 PER. I know cos my friend flew it the other month.Lets say, just say, or g#sbag, or yak, what if VA(i) did mention, that is ONLY a what if, if VA did an agreement with the/a lounge ops in the independent PER T1 after int sec zone.

Yes/no/maybe.

JQ, no J service, and that QF does not have a lounge presence at PER T1 anymore, so no lounge either. so lets day, no int lounge at PER T1.
VA, J service (if not booked out) but no int lounge at PER T1.
Both of these services have their respective FF programs.
OD/ID does not have a lounge presence either, and no FF program, but have got J (if not booked out).

I would imagine the lack of QF lounge at PER to be temporary given their agreement to move over now. There might even be a small chance QF builds a small F section given they want PER to be a hub. If that's the case JQ pax would get access right.JQ, no J service, and that QF does not have a lounge presence at PER T1 anymore, so no lounge either. so lets day, no int lounge at PER T1.

Batik Air / Malindo Miles (Batik Malaysia) has a FF program.Well the advantage of VA over Batik and Air Asia is points and credits as a FF......just give us a damn lounge!

Which one, not that I would have a need for it.If flying OD "biz" class you do have lounge access at T1 PER. I know cos my friend flew it the other month.
Yes It was the Aspire lounge at PER T1.Which one, not that I would have a need for it.
Is it the Aspire at PER T1?
As has been stated a number of times now, these flights must operate to/from international terminals on the same flight number all the way. The bilateral requires it.For those on the ADL/OOL - PER, flight its very unlikely it would be the orange sticker.
I’m all for anything gets another VA 737 service on the ADL-PER route when we have to cop the junk they send here nowI'm tipping the Bilateral Applications will be split. Both JQ/VA will get the ADL-PER-DPS route slots. I don't think either's chances of getting CNS-MEL-DPS and OOL-PER-DPS respectively are guaranteed as outlined previously by others, it's a clear 'work-around' of the system.
I'd probably would've supported the VA getting both slots had the second route been say, CNS-BNE/SYD-DPS for example, perhaps timed into their partners and/or their own services (e.g the CNS legs timed into VA's own daily HND)
