VA679, the Tuesday 24 July 2018 scheduled 0915 hours MEL across to PER with the very welcome in comparison to a cramped B738, A332 VH-XFC, did not become airborne until 1025, so arrival has become an estimated 1219 hours, 44 late.

VA564 (Thursday 26 July 2018, the 1620 hours PER across to SYD that was in the sky at a delayed 1718with the very welcome A332 VH-XFG) is forecast to arrive at 2313, 43 late so if this time holds (and it lands at 2308), that must mean it has a curfew exemption from the Federal Minister for Transport's mysterious delegate.

Friday 27 July sees VA2 from LAX to SYD (B773ER VH-VPE) arriving at 0809, 39 minutes late. As so often occurs, VA1 (0930 hours SYD - LAX) will be late away.
