Virgin Australia Delays/Cancellations

VA401 (0600 hours ADL - SYD, B738 VH-VUQ on Thursday 4 April) did not take off until 0639 so arrival is a predicted 0851 hours, 31 late.
 
Later on 4 April 2019, VA705, the 1425 hours HBA up to BNE took off at 1534. B738 VH-YFR is set for a 66 minute tardy, 1706 hours, arrival.
 
Storms around SYD during the early evening of Thursday 4 April appear to be creating many delays with VA962, the 1605 hours BNE down to SYD airborne at 1627 (only about 10 late) likely to arrive at 1914 hours, 34 late. B738 VH-VUV is the workhorse.

The PQQ down to SYD VA1192 has ATR72 VH-VPJ and should arrive at about 1926, 31 late.

VA715 (F100 VH-GFSQ, the Friday 5 April 2019 scheduled 1130 ADL across to PER) was not in the air until 1411 hours. Arrival should be at 1502 hours, 152 minutes late.

The 1400 hours SYD down to MEL, VA846, was airborne at 1455 (B738 VH-VOL) so arrival should be at 1611 hours, 36 minutes late.
 
Continuing with Friday 5 April 2019, VA883 (B738 VH-YWD, the 1630 hours MEL - SYD up up and away at 1712) should be at its destination gate at 1827 in the early evening, 32 late.
 
Later, VA354, the evening 1955 hours BNE down to MEL took off at 2047. VH-YWD should arrive at 2354 hours, 34 late.

VA379 (scheduled 1720 hours BNE up to TSV) was airborne at 2032, so the very much tardy at gate time should be 2218, 173 late for VH-YIB.
 
The weekend operation of A332s from Oz to Fiji for VA is a step up from B738s and popular. However on Saturday 6 April, VH-XFE on VA185, the 1105 hours MEL - NAN did not become airborne until 1205, so arrival is delayed to an expected 1743, 58 late.
 
VA735, Sunday 7 April's morning 1020 hours from MEL up to OOL has B738 VH-VUF and was airborne at 1107 hours. Arrival is put back to 1259, 34 late.

VH-VBY on VA417, the 1000 hours from ADL across to SYD was in the sky at 1058. Expected arrival has become 1305, 45 late.
 
On Monday 8 April 2019, VA811 (A332 VH-XFH), the 0700 hours MEL - SYD did not become airborne until 0755 so predicted arrival is 0912 hours, 47 late.

VA916, also an 0700 hours but southbound as from BNE down to SYD (B738 VH-VOT) did not take off until 0758 so like the flight ex MEL, it's delayed with SYD arrival suggested as 0917 hours, 42 late.

The early evening Tuesday 09 April VA693 from MEL to PER, the 1815 hours (with the very welcome A332 VH-XFH) took off at 1905 so arrival is expected at 2117, 42 late.

B738 VH-YIW on VA168, the 1600 hours AKL to MEL took off at 1653, arriving at 1905, 55 down.
 
B738 VH-VFK on VA1375, the 1700 hours Thursday 11 April 2019 LST - MEL was airborne at 1759 so delayed arrival is predicted as 1902 hours, 62 minutes late.

VA168, the 1600 hours AKL to MEL (B738 VH-YIW) was holding north of Walhalla as at 1841 and is showing as arriving at 1914 hours, 64 late.

On Friday 12 April 2019, VA813 (0715 hours MEL - SYD, B738 VH-YFL) took off at 0803 to the west so it will be at least half an hour later than scheduled arrival of 0840 hours.

The DPS - SYD VA34 has B738 VH-YIH and should arrive at 0832 hours, 67 late.

Sunday 14 April has VA140 (B738 VH-YIO), the early morning 0730 hours AKL - SYD not taking off until 0838. Arrival is estimated at 0953 hours, 38 late.
 
On Monday 15 April, VA813 from MEL to SYD, the 0715 hours airborne at 0749 (B738 VH-VUQ) is arriving at 0912 hours, 32 late.
 
During the evening of Monday 15 April 2019, VA437 from ADL across to SYD (the 1825 hours airborne at 1909 with B738 VH-YID) should be at its gate at 2120, 35 late.
 
Tuesday 16 April 2019 sees the evening VA169 from MEL to AKL (B738 VH-YIO) airborne at 2033 with suggested arrival on Wednesday 17 at 0140, 65 late.

The BNE to MEL VA346 (B738 VH-VOK, the 1755 hours that took off at 1959) has an at gate arrival time of 2210 late tonight, 110 late.

VA693, the 1815 hours dinner time MEL across to PER has uncomfortable B738 VH-YIF and took off at 1945, so delayed arrival is 2140, 65 minutes tardy.

B773ER VH-VOZ on the flagship VA2 from LAX to SYD is arriving on Wednesday 17 April at 0800 hours, half an hour behind schedule. This is better than QF and DL today.
 
On Holy Thursday, 18 April 2019, VA811, the 0700 hours MEL up to SYD (the very welcome A332 VH-XFG, as A332s are only on a small minority of MEL - SYD flights) took off at 0738 with arrival suggested as 0855, half an hour late.

VA917 (0800 hours SYD to BNE) had yet to take off as at 0844, so is likely to be at least half an hour late.
