Well it doesn't mean fast at all.
It's like saying size means big - or temperature means hot.
This is a prank, surely?
… like an app update that includes a new drop-down menu animation effect. That would be so cool.
Cheers,
Matt.
The upcoming announcement is quite exciting IMO and has several new options for passengers.
Still… the it was published. The stable door has opened. This is simply creating frustration now instead of excitement. If that's true, then surely @Mattg was only letting us know what wasn't embargoed. He's not an idiot -- he knows that if he divulges stuff that's embargoed he'll never get invited to any media event again.
ergo ... there's more to this than a rebranding. I'm still staying tuned for Monday.
Certainly looks like itIs that a can of Fosters behind the ice bucket?
Classy.
Is that actually it though ?? New logo and slogan? That’s the announcement??
Always makes me think of Bundy Rum, that one…"Spirit of Australia" = With that performance? God, I hope not!

I don’t see the relevance of showing a pic of QF flight crew in PJs on this thread ?So there's a nice metaphor developed from respective 'events' over the past couple of days between Virgin and Qantas.
Someone at a Virgin function drinks Fosters. 'Onya mate.
Meanwhile, over at Qantas, you get:
<redacted>
Go for it, Qantas fans ...

Patience is a virtue.
Velocity means fast.
One of the worst slogans I’ve seen. Velocity can also be slow, medium or fast. It doesn’t just mean fast.
I don’t see the relevance at all.Other than the metaphor I mentioned between respective events. I could post in Qantas forum I guess.
"Spirit of Australia" = With that performance? God, I hope not!
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
This is the biggest let down since the series finale of "Lost".
I don't know how much money Virgin spent on all this, but it would have been better putting it in a big bucket on the floor in the middle of the Gold Coast check in counter on school holidays and watching what unfolds.
