Click here for a list of current Virgin Australia discount codes:

A while back VA had a discount code that could be used for (almost) any domestic booking.

Are there any discount codes that work at the moment?

Thanks!

Tried to use the GPR23 code but the sale prices were less, so now have BNE/ADL/BNE flights (with points upgrades to J) all processed

even though it's after the 10th of November, i just booked a couple of flights using CVX26
it was a period not covered by the current sale
thanks!

Hi guys,

Looking at booking MEL-CMB (VA ticket on SIN metal) for March. Do the x% off bookable fares codes ever apply to these types of tickets? Thanks in advance.

No. Never.

Thought this might be worth mentioning...

I'm not sure if the t&c's of the current triple-points promo are actually in effect - but they do state "The triple Velocity Points offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion" - so it might be worth evaluating the extra points vs 10% discount for each use-case.

I've just asked the same question in the Triple Points thread-interested to hear of real-world experiences

Don't know how the T&Cs compared, but I'm earning double points from the last offer, and I also used Promo code for discount on those flights.

Shouldn't be an issue unless it has been specifically mentioned.

I have previously earned double points on bookings using a discount code and paying with gift vouchers.

I may just make a token booking as I have ~$400 left over in gift vouchers and most flights booked through to June 2016.

I'm in same position, $400 in travel bank credit and all flights booked until May 2016. Triple points sounds tempting

GPR23 just worked for me for a flight in late Jan SYD-TSV. I'm reduced to flying via BNE and wasting an extra hour each way just for the additional 10 SCs per trip as I will struggle to requalify as SG this year. Tried the other code (CVX26) but no luck.

Just booked return SYD to Queenstown just before Xmas, using GPR23. Worked great. Knocked $100 off the flex.

Seemingly GPR23 is borked for MEL-PER trips booked before 2016 - attempting to use the code for flights in December yields no discounts, however it works just fine for flights in January 2016.

Has to be 20 days out. I booked a MEL-PER yesterday using it, no problems whatsoever, for next month.

This has just popped up on Ozbargain:

Just stumbled across this great discount on a selected range of base fares from Virgin Australia,
30% off Selected Domestic
40% off Selected Trans-Tasman
45% off Selected Short Haul
15% off Selected long haul international flights

Travel dates must be February-March 2016 for Domestic, Short Haul and Long Haul. And May to June 2016 for Trans-Tasman.
BY USING SPECIAL PROMOTION CODE LQZ26
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/223539

No Ts and Cs listed, although someone has asked for them, so will be interesting to see what comes back.

Has anyone here heard/seen anything about this promo code? Can't find it mentioned anywhere else.

Edited to add from the OZB thread: THIS CODE WILL ONLY WORK BETWEEN THE 7th DECEMBER 2015 to 13 DECEMBER 2015

Sounds too good to be true.

I tried several dummy bookings with the code to PER, SYD & CBR for Feb and March 2016 and no joy - full fares only and the code is not working :(

Without knowing the terms and conditions it is very hard to guess a dummy booking to fit the code - and if it is actually valid.
