Melbourne tonight was chilli con carne and corn chips, which ran out shortly after 7pm.

It was OK but hardly great food in comparison to the QF Pubs usual feed.

This featured in Bris last night. Tasty, but messy & not enough for the full lounge. I love the pumpkin & quinoa salad, I may have had 2 serves of that!

They did bring out chicken pies and vegetarian pies not long before boarding.

The vegetarian pie was vegetarian the chicken pie was quite nice.

"roast pork rolls" in the SYD lounge this evening. Bread roll a touch tough (would be nice run through the toaster maybe) but the pork is pulled pork style, mixed in with a tasty gravy and served with apple sauce. A more savvy me would have applied mustard maybe, but it was solid comfort food and is clearly a hit- blokes around me going back for seconds and thirds.

Every few months something interesting pops up for about twenty minutes. It generates some buzz about new food to keep people happy and then just goes away.

Scrambled eggs and baked beans yesterday in BNE. Does that count as "extra food"? I've long since given up on lounge food being anything better than basic subsistence offering.
