Both fully booked in J apart from on the max8 on Sunday

Bummer, sorry. I know some people have successfully forced VA2 to book them onto QF in similar situations recently. Sorry .

Max8 - I’m not 100% sure I’d fly one either so respect your decision.

Getting a full refund from VA, not bad considering that the flights were booked using credits from a flight I had to cancel earlier in the year. Now rebooked the day before our original return date in J on the Fiji airways A350 so good result

We loved our recent Fiji trip, certainly easy to travel to now with convenient timings on VA. The FJ lounge was an absolute Gem for 2 hours, great vertical garden wall, similar to QF F lounge.
