The message is gone this morning and my new platinum status is there. Still no sign of a new card before i leave though.

My card turned up on Thursday, four days short of my "complementary" 1 month expiry so 27 days to process and post if that helps you plan.

Given I requalified on VA metal with both SCs and heaps of eligible flights with no reliance on partner SCs, I think 27 days is far too long......how are they going to deal with those waiting for partner SCs if the simple, straight forward accounts take 27 days? Maybe they need to go back to the 2 months complementary status after review date to manage it.

I'd suggest patience this year. There are conceivably quite a few matched members accounts needing review at the moment.

There are unlikely to be so many to process this time next year.

Posted on a wing and a prayer ...

In my case I'm on 1890 SCs with over 50 DJ segments, so I don't even know what needs to be assessed!! Maybe they should just hold off for those who have come in 10-20% below qualifying?

They could be reassessing you upwards toward 'God' (oops VIP) status.

As per 777 comments as well I had 3900 SC no VIP and by the 15th September I will have 400SC and 12 Sectors, not bad since I have till 25 Aug 2013 to earn 800SC.

OK my patience is running out. I took the status match and delivered 1500+ SC's worth of travel to DJ. My experiences have been very good, but this is just rubbish. It needs to be fixed pretty damned quick.

I am really not sure what everyone is concerned about. If you have re-qualified, and are not missing out on any of the benefits, I am not sure what the problem is! Sure they maybe slow but how does this affect your experience on a day to day basis?

As someone that has well and truly re-qualified platinum and on my way to requalifying for 2013 including pooling so my wife reached Gold, the fact that they are slow with updating my status on the account really does not cause me concern.

Odd they have been so sloppy on this.

We easily re-qualified but I'd hate to be in limbo like some here.

Fair point, I'm sure there are many others like me ( status matched QF WP who re-qualified) who are simply comparing the two airlines systems. QF : SC'S and sectors have a running tally and status rolls over on renewal date, verus DJ : SC'S and sectors have a running tally and status is put into limbo for x unspecified weeks post renewal date for reasons that are unclear

I would suggest thay have a fair few reassessments on their hands presently.

Patience is they key - aside from that there's that additional month to keep you going.

I wonder if DJ have a couple of juniors on work experience in a broom cupboard processing status renewals manually?
I am surprised that there should be any delay at all in processing status renewals in view of the information available online. The matching was done far quicker IIRC than the renewals are being processed.
It isnt a real concern to me personally as my next DJ flights are not until November but I would be worried if I had any Partner Airline bookings in Y coming up soon

Well they certainly have a few of them responding in gobbledygook about ending anytime lounge access for Plats.

QF seem to start the assessment process prior to the renewal date, so by the renewal date there is only a relative small handful left. Hard to say if it is a fully automated process or there is some manual checking going on.

DJ kick off the reassessment at the renewal date, and clearly there is a manual review going on. What they have done is make that review processing time more visible.

Customer Service????? Does DJ want a slice of the 5100SC's QF got from me last year???????????????????????????????

Sorry my patience is at an end, this is not that difficult......and that is saying something. It means no priority boarding with QF domestically for me!

Mine was all normal today. 13 days later.

I'm not sure what the issue is, someone has already reported they've been able to use upgrades during the reassessment period. Lounge is still letting me in. So I'm not sure what is missing.

Any chance they could extend the "assessing your activity" past 02 October 2012 considering I did not requalify Platinum?

And on a related point if I am still Platinum until October 2012 does that mean that this weekends flights earn Platinum bonus?

....errrr...let me think......oh yes...Customer Service. Simply does not meet my expectations.

That's my question what service are you not getting. I listed a couple of services that are still forthcoming despite of the reassessment. What service is missing? What are you not getting as a customer? Well besides the appropriate DYKWIA recognition. ;)

My 3 flights during reassessment have all credited with platinum bonus. Not sure if they would reverse that....
