Westfield XS card

Corporate order form has changed from 20k spend to 250k spend in order to qualify for fee waiver!
Otherwise it's $4.95 per card.

$4.95 is a fair price to pay IF it can be used. What I don't get is is it Auspost or Westfield blocking these cards.
Tried to use a card the other day and was promptly stopped by the counter staff - who said that Westfield have told them it cannot be used.

Crikey. The boat keeps sailing further away :(
It's a pity when a business plan relies on people not spending all of their "gift" and gets tightened up when people do. Oh well that's life. Move on.

Well westfield screws everyone who deals with them (retailers, parking etc) so is in their DNA. Looks like they realised they couldn't rip off a certain part of society so have blocked them...

Per 10k worth , but there was no limit. 10k three times a week equals $1500 per week .

So you buy 11 cards at a time...? 33 cards in the week...?

That's some serious coin going through on a weekly basis....

another day another promo. I would like some help tho with your local WF to see what corp promotions they are running.

Thanks once again fellow AFF members

tried using the XS card today at local Post Office and eftpos machine came up wrong account. re-swiped a couple of times but no joy. May have come to an end

Just to confirm that you pressed savings, right?

Also did you try the Self service ATM in Post office or at the counter?

For those that are still buying XS cards, apparently there is a new rule started on 29Sept

If you buy a card above certain amount, the staff needs to call some manager (by phone) to get approval - and if the manager is busy, you'll have to wait for him/ her to call back
Not sure how they decide whether you can buy the card or not - the staff simply gave the manager my name - hope my name does not appear on their black list

The threshold is currently $300

Thanks FrankC. I've been sensing a change for the last few weeks. With a recent order through the web site I was made to feel like a criminal before they refused the order. And with the ongoing PO problems it confirms "issues". I think Westfield, as is their prerogative I guess, only want to sell to people who will give the cards to other people who won't use all the gift. Thus gifting Westfield the balance. It's their game and they set the rules.
